How do you think the table is going to look after Friday's games? (1 Viewer)

If Notts County win they could go above and Scunthorpe will if they win.

Think we need to be rooting for Walsall and Crewe especially on Friday don't we.

The real one not to win must be Notts County. If they get 6 points tomorrow and Monday, I'd start to really worry.

I do think we may have an advantage going into Monday's game. We won't have played since Wednesday and Notts County would have had their game on Friday, so we will have had a bit more recovery time than they will.

If we can get to 51 or 52 points by the end of the season, in all liklihood the table on Friday won`t have mattered a damn.

I will certainly fear for us if we lose on Monday. We simply cannot lose this game.

The problem for me is that I think we will. If we are in the bottom four with a trip to Bristol City coming up soon (no points there), then we could simply run out of games. The one positive thing is that our GD (couldn't be arsed to type goal difference) isn't too bad compared to most - an extra point in other words. But Crawley away may = Charlton away from a few years back. Same KO time too!

Rather scary..

Let's hope our Notts County experience is better than last year, when we were awful despite a huge following.

Even if results go our way, it doesn't change much. Its still a big game regardless of other results.

It does to a degree in terms of our Notts County match though. Putting the other teams aside for the minute, if Notts County win on Friday they will be on the same points as us, even maybe above us if the goal differential is in their favour.

I do think it could be a major contributing factor to Monday's game. If County lose on Friday we will be 3 points clear of them going into Monday's game. If they win they will be on the same points as us.

Us going into Monday's game 3 points clear could well work to our advantage, as Notts County will be even more desperate for the points and will have to win. We can then try and pick them off on the break.

They go into the game above us, then is more pressure on us to win the game, as a draw would still leave us below them.

Arriving Nottingham 11.03 if the train's on time, and several pints later will be fuelled with Sky Blue optimism - it can't be as bad as last season and I think that the extra 2 days rest is a huge advantage for us.I'll go and jinx us now, but unless we **** up and get a silly sending off, we should have the legs on them the longer the game goes on. 3-1 us !!!!

Its still going to be a pressure game whatever way the results go Friday, just don't think Fridays results will have much of an impact on our situation going into Mondays game.

The TABLE will have the same amount of stock as it had on Wednesday!

Well psychologically, I think it could well make a difference.

Us being 3 points clear of Notts County as opposed to being behind them in the table come Monday, may well have some bearing on the way the game plays out.

That's definitely the way I see it.

I agree Otis. Coupled with this, Notts County have one of the toughest run ins IIRC. I'm earmarking Yeovil, Colchester and N County as 3 to go down. I think if we can beat County, and beat either Colchester or Crewe (think the former will be 'easier') we should be ok. Do NOT want the Crawley game to be a decider!

In a strange sort of way it might be better if Notts County win today. They haven't won for 5 games, lose today and that will be 6.

Now we all know what happens when city come up against a team that haven't won for 6 games don't we?

Sooner or later the string of away wins will end. I just hope we can get a win at home to balance it out. But our home record is atrocious and much more entrenched than our successful away run.
The game we could not afford to lose was the last game but we lost it anyway.

Div 3 Div 4 its all the same to me. I certainly wouldn't wish relegation on us but it wouldn't have much effect on me

Rooting for Walsall all the way.

It will when you are paying 20 odd quid to watch football that is worse than we are watching at the moment.
Anyway I believe that we will be ok.
No need to panic just yet. ..
