Couldn't believe my ear's driving home last night listening to CWR. People are already calling for TM's head. I know it was April fools yesterday but...

Who are these people? What do they think it will achieve?

It is the fans who still think this group of players are good enough to get us into the play offs.

Or expecting us to be challenging for the play-offs based on the fact that we are Coventry City and used to be a big club, no matter how poor the squad is.

I'm not saying TM should be sacked far from it, I do think he is a good manager, but if we had played like that with SP he would be getting hammered.

Last night he got the tactics wrong, imo we needed proschwitz or whatever his names is. They played 3 at the back and when Samuel went off we had nouble up front on his own who is not a target man considering the amount of long balls we played last night it has to be considered a mistake. I appreciate the 5 loan rule, but we should have dropped odelusi possibly last night as, although talented George Thomas was never going to beat 3 6ft 4 beefed up defenders. People may argue that we battered them the second half and hit the post twice, but I can only remember one clear opportunity and that was Thomas's shot cleared off the line.

I think the tm is missing an i in the middle as I would like to see that idiot head on a stake like a kebab with Waggott's below.

If we need Proschwitz, then we are truly doomed.

I would agree, but last night he was the only other striking option, with Miller loaned, Jackson on international and tudgay injured, now with Samuel injured, he may just be in the team?

The one salvation for TM is that this is Pressley's team and Pressley's squad. Mowbray has brought just one player in, Gavin Ward and he has been like a breath of fresh air for us.

Just surprised that pretty much everyone could see and was saying that we needed to make a sub to liven it up as they were coming back into the game. He did this as soon as they scored.

That wasnt about SP's team, it was about TM tactics.

Well i agree that Thomas was the wrong decision and I said as much last night.

It was a move that backfired on us, because up until Samuel went off we looked quite bright and in control.

I understand Thomas coming on as really he was the only striking option. But tbh he shouldn't have been, as he was never going to win a think against those 3 cb's

Was he though?

Odelusi's profile says he is a winger or striker. We could have pushed Odelusi up front and brought Turgott on to play on the wing.

Ahh didn't know that about odelusi playing up front, is that right? Or is that just our piss poor site making it up?

if it's true then yeah maybe I would agree.

This is when too many youngsters are a disadvantage. Youngsters are good when things are going well and your tails are up.

When confidence is low and you desperately need points game experience and physicality are important.

The first choice XI probably is, if you look at individual talent. However, there's absolutely no team chemistry which is not a surprise when you consider Fleck is about the only regular left from last season.

What has been the first choice eleven? Especially when you say Fleck has been the only regular? The reason for so much change is because players haven't been good enough to claim a shirt!

The squad is sub standard, that is why we are in a relegation battle and we are just pulling 8,000 at home.

It demonstrates the IQ of the average footy fan. I'd like to think the average on here is a lot higher but I have good reason of late to believe that may not be the case.
