That I have ever made one post defending sisu. I stared s thread a couple of weeks ago stating that the owners CEO needs the bullet.

The last bit exposes your ignorance on how multi national companies work as well. The same as when you once said as I controlled budgets I clearly talked crap as there is only one budget. Frankly at that point I gave up.

You said that they deliberately lost the JR when they clearly just didn't have a case. If that's not being defensive I don't know what is.

I am OK at Googling, I can't see any mention of an agreement with Pressley on there though?

Did any one mention anything about Pressley in this topic till you did?

Hold I can see the little para in the corner now, did not notice it b4.

Yeah, the original post and what I was replying to Simon about and the image he posted up showing the Pressley information?

Maybe you could take back the Google Education offer and cash it on a reading book?

You are right. It is newsworthy and deserves a headline. How about "SISU agree to pay bill".

So it was worthy of a headline when the same bill wasn't actually overdue? We could get the usual telegraph headline writers to do it, how about

"SISU Save club from winding up order"

That was the point....

Checking back that SP thing was mentioned in post #191, the 120 odd meandering intervening posts over the previous 24hrs threw me off the scent.

In the light of that realisation I fully agree the CT should make more of a feature of it, why not?

But you not seeing it or noticing it, kind of backs up the point people were making about it ;) I had to actually read it closely to see why Simon was posting it up. It is like it is one of those things after the headline "footballer bangs 100 women in 1 night while high on coke" that is followed by a 1 line apology on page 78 saying "we apologise for the incorrect fact" 3 weeks later.

The article says Pressley and the club mad an agreement. Nothing about the content - or the amount.

Hence "agree to pay bill". Nothing about whether they will or won't actually do it, or how much per cent of SPs demand they have agreed on.

Or maybe they agreed there is no bill to pay?

Some people are never happy. Moaning because the story got too much attention and now moaning because it's not getting enough now.

There was a point to this thread?!!! Well, one that mattered?

I would say the way that the local media reports stories regarding the club is of importance.

Has thee been any coverage of the news that there has been a settlement regarding Pressley or are they still on holiday?

Yes, Simon posted it a couple of pages back!

That isn't unique to the Coventry Telegraph though Grendel. All media hype things up and you have to read between the lines to get near the truth. They also drop things in an instant when it suites them. You had a point but have over laboured it, in fact you are more guilty than the press for the points you are trying to get across. :p

It was squeezed into a corner and not even mentioned online, if it had been a negative story it would have been splashed all over the internet and plastered all over the back page of the paper copy.

The irony. Pressley brings future transfer embargo or points deduction. And we were doing so well..this week
emoji15.png

TM will not hang around if the club end up with points deducted or embargo's flying around

The one worrying thing is that he may end up forcing another admin if there is not enough cash in the club to settle this and keep it running , i would suspect that a cash injection from SISU would be required , which as the auditors said at the time of the last accounts unless SISU fund the losses then the club cannot trade. At that time SISU agreed to fund the losses but back then they were not expecting to have to run the club and payout SP.

if the club don't have it , then it is either Admin , SISU pays or some stage payment agreements.

Agreeing a settlement often takes time, true but this is an immediate action so it would suggest that either the parties are miles apart or SISU are simply not looking like paying at the moment

I guess the fuss is that the article says the club now have 8 days to pay or appeal to a court or pressley can issue a winding up order, this is what happened with ACL isn't it?

If they don't pay because the money is not in the club then SISU have to put money in. If they don't sort something out by next week potentially SP can seek to have them wound up and another 10 points deduction is a possibility.

Clearly had a few people spooked

Once. To prove a point. There is room for a professional sports team in Coventry - if done properly. Tony Mowbray wants professional structures put in place to get CCFC in a position to move up a league. Let's hope he gets his way. Perhaps we too can get the crowds back. In no way does saying "look it is possible to get good crowds in Coventry" make me a Wasps fan - except, perhaps, in your weird and wonderful fantasy world. As Astute says, you are talking bollox again....

Wasps attract more fans, increase turnover and look like achieving sporting success.
Why is Wasps Support undeserved? They have put a lot into getting people to come and are doing well at their sport.
Basically Wasps owner is behind them and they are moving forward at high Speed

Sound like a fan to me and on this thread you show more passion then whenever talking about CCFC

I would say that the way the club is being run (into the ground) is far far more important. Strange I've never seen you start a thread on that subject and definitely not a second thread when one already existed :thinking about:

If this got your goat up your piss must be boiling big time about the lack of coverage of the Jag Whitley extension securing and creating jobs (given that you're one of the top manager's and all that) by another local paper, I'll drop into the off topic section to see the thread you started on that. Perhaps their award winning journalist was too busy covering the SCG meeting to cover that bit of important news for the Coventry area. Still he is a political journalist and it's not like the local council were basking in the good news with elections coming up. Oh wait, they were. Still, you have to get your priorities right. Local football club's SCG handbags vs Good news for the region. No brainer I guess.

Here is an interesting stat Tony. 83% of your posts over the last month have been replies to my posts

What do you think a physcologist would make of that?

I've not got a rabbit. Please leave me alone.

So this is what you have been doing for the last few hours. And here was me thinking that you had done your normal and ignored a thread once you know that you can't realistically twist the truth.

Ignore a thread from the man who claims I support sisu but can't find a single post to support the accusation.

Probably thinks you need to get a life.

Good of you to change the subject again when a tough point has been made that you have no answer for. A psychologist would probably also say you have avoidance issues too.

There was no point in your waffle was there? What relevance was any of your post to the OP anyway? It's about local media manipulation.

Please point out any relevance your post had to the topic of the thread.

Your diverting the subject Tony, not me.

And no I'm not free for dinner Friday

It's a shame you can't make Friday. You could have PM'd me, you know I like to be discreet about my position as a dating consultant but I'll let Big Brian know for you. He'll be disappointed l know as apparently last week he threw you around like a rag doll. He did ask me to let you know that he did post the video on youporn like you asked and he asked do you want your gimp mask back?

Sounds like someone pointing out what can be done if you know what you are doing. Passionate about the fact that we should be doing something to get the crowds back. We are drifting and the crowds are declining. In the meantime Wasps are doing well with the stadium we should have had. You are deflecting from the point I am highlighting. You are the traitor - not me. You attack anyone who points out what is happening to CCFC because of the actions of our owner.
