If We Do Get Relegated (3 Viewers)

Talking over a few beers after Saturdays match with a few other City fans I said if we do go down that would be me finished as a supporter, and as I've given fifty years loyal service I don't feel I need to justify my decision.I expected to be called disloyal or a quitter but only one fan was against me saying he'd never quit even if we ended up in the non-league.My son who was with me laughed and said it was just the beer talking, and now a couple of days later I reckon he's right as I couldn't ever see me not supporting the Sky Blues. It's just the thought of fourth tier football that brought on my miserable mood. Any thoughts on this matter ?

Wouldn't matter what division, couldn't stop supporting them. Like many others though, really wish we could enjoy a season or two where we won more than we lost and were challenging for something. It's a sensation that 50% ish of footie fans experience during a season and we deserve a bit of that sunshine on our backs occasionally !

Its a natural response to emotional pain but its hard to turn it off like a switch! I don't think I'll ever to able to. Its as much a part of me as my political beliefs. Its part of who I am and although I might resent it, it is inescapable.

Makes me laugh when Spurs fans etc are moaning about how poor their team is, they have had it easy compared to us

Now I'm not saying I'd get this(!) but I'd rather a club I felt part of in the bottom division than a club I felt detached from in the top.

I just think of it this way, when we do and we have to at some point get a good run or achieve something well deserve it for the amount of crap and hardship weve went through all these years, in the mean time we just have to put up with whats thrown at us get on with it and hope for the best.
