Fair play to you, but I'd be very surprised if they went for a packet of jelly babies, a box of Krispy Kreme donuts and a £10 Primark gift card, to be quite honest with you.

I don't know. Both Fisher and Waggot look partial to a doughnut and like they buy their wardrobes from Primark. He could be onto something ;)

It might work. After all, we had people writing to the council, didn't we? ;)

What am i not getting here?

The OP which has been edited has offered to buy some land and build us a new ground on the proviso sisu sell them the club cheaply.

That he's trying to be all mysterious and whip up a frenzy of pointless questions but has in fact made a bit of a tit of himself.

Why would they find such an offer attractive?
Surely they can buy land and build a stadium themselves - and keep the club instead of having to write off loans?

No offer is ever serious if it isn't relatively attractive to both buyer and seller.

Do you mean the idiots who were begging the council not to sell the Ricoh to CCFC?

I can totally understand their worries though, CCFC would have just used the Ricoh Lease to get a loan or something to give to themselves and line their greedy pockets.

Quite right, I offered to punch them in the face and didn't even get a reply.

I didn't get to read your offer, so I am just wondering what makes it attractive to sisu?

I hadn't thought it through had I?

I don't know, did you?
Again, what makes your offer attractive to sisu?
If it's confidential then just say so.

Well let's see... I was thinking that it would certainly make me feel better and they might feel they deserved it. It would be symbolic of the current owner/fan relationship. Right there in a nutshell; one fan punching TF in the face. (It being TF was not a deal breaker, I would punch any of them)
I have also offered this to the council but apparently neither organisation can see the obvious PR potential

Yeah, maybe they would have issued bonds, got all the "fans" to buy them and then covered some of their losses. I am really glad we stopped Sisu from doing that.

Darn, I should have replied with quote. Apparently the poster says that SISU could be junior partners in a stadium initiative/ get their money back eventually. He knows some backers......

Haha you guys make the gossiping old grannies in the old people home look like nuns.

Unfortunately, Nick doesn't have this site where if you post something and then wish to take it off can do so through the edit but can't remove it.

I stated that I can get investors to buy land in Coventry and Warwickshire to build a stadium if SISU allow the said investors to buy the club at a realistic price. To cover some of the losses SISU have incurred we would allow them to be a partner for up to 5 years with them getting 40% of profits.
I know SISU have invest money but it's nowhere near the 60 million being touted. They have transfered losses from elsewhere, but its totally legal. Also, you can see they do not have funds to build the stadium at present, and with all the court cases involving SISU and the council SISU will find it difficult to work with any council in the land.
SISU's initial claim about the council loaning 14 million to ACL being 'not in the best interest of the public' was totally right and if they had paid the extra could have won that case. Now it's too late because Wasps have purchased the stadium along with the other ACL group. For the council to sell that amount of property is scandellous and it beg one to ask you if they wanted it to be profitable in the first place?
That of course is another issue and possibly one we will never be able find out. What it does mean is unless someone takes some kind off action this will continue to roll on for years. We may get TM to sign a contract. We may get promoted and get increased attendances to help fund a new stadium. We may be able to find one or two gems and sell them for a considerable profit. BUT then again we might not.

All I am saying, and I have sent a letter to SISU, is that I have people who could fund the building of a stadium IF they want to work something out. I am acting individually but at present I am working on two investments in London. The fund will be money raised in this country and from private investors. That would be the first step, dealing with the stadium.

Sorry if I offend people with this posting. I am a serious person who is also a City fan. Maybe I can't change the world but if I can get bums off seats and action being done then so be it I can take the abuse.
