Which window would you prefer him to lick?

Take it Mowbray is waiting for exact confirmation of budget, scouts, coaches and maybe a couple of transfers/loans he wants sorted before he signs. Also might be a case of telling Waggot to do one as well. I'm sure the delay is about budget, why would he sign without being given funds for a goalkeeper and goalscorer etc! Mowbray has a good reputation and we have a good reputation of ruining managers so he needs assurances of change. It's obvious he's here for a promotion push next year nothing less.

Now!...To keep this thread on course about Mowbray. The one difference between Mowbray and all the managers since SISU took charge. Mowbray isn't a "Yes man" like the rest of 'em. Every single one of his predecessors with the exception of Dowie, made my skin crawl with their "Yes boss" attitude. None more so than Coleman and Pressley, perhaps this is the start of putting CCFC back up the leagues, who knows? maybe, just maybe.

How very dare you!

Casual poster.....10,101 posts....really?!

How many have been in the last 1-2 years? I gave up coming on here very often, mainly due to the attitudes such as that displayed in the post in this thread that pissed me off so much, and also due to the patronising, biased, one-eyed manner of the prick of an admin.

You're a crotchety old fucker today SBK, does TM having his demands met not fit with your viewpoint?

What does Imminent actually mean, in 1938 Winston Churchill predicted that war with Germany was imminent, yet it took another year for them to sort out the contracts for that. Even then as Chamberlain stepped off the plane from Berlin waving what he thought was a watertight contract for peace the Germans were marching into Poland, I won't believe it till I see it with my own eyes.

Agree. My fault entirely though so apologies to all, it was just a tongue-in-cheek reply, didn't think it would lead to anything. Last word from me.

Fair enough, I obviously had no idea that you were referencing something and just took it on face value. Some of us have to do some work rather than sit on here all day, after all! ;)

You mean that everybody doesn't cry like a bitch when people disagree and may actually have a sense of humour? Dry your eyes.

Maybe if people actually read posts and saw the way in which they were meant before going apeshit they might not look like divas flouncing about.

Are "admins" not allowed opinions?

It was something to do with the Golden Share in Konigsberg, wasn't it?

I've no Idea what snide point you are trying to make, I'll just focus on letting you know that anyone quoting The Streets sounds like a right plum.

No humour allowed Nick - have you forgotten? :)

It is more likely sitting on a lawyers desk waiting for him to calculate his fee for advice

"Bigi one day will be sold for £35 million" -- to be fair he can crack a few good one liners when he wants to

I wasn't quoting them, literally just saying dry your eyes. I didn't realise the streets copyrighted the phrase.

My point was, read how the post is worded, what it actually means before blowing your lid. Up there with SBK in this thread for missing the point and stressing.

I don't even know who The Streets are.

I'd rather there be a delay as long as it means mowbary signing and getting what he wants. Otherwise we'd be left with a yes man and same shite next year. Longer it drags, the better but the telegraph can do one uploading pointless stories.

To be fair to them, Turner and the Telegraph are inundated daily with a lot of messages asking how it's coming along, is there any news yet etc etc. Add to that some of the near hysterical posts on here and I'm not surprised they're posting "update" stories!

On the same level as 'Selling Wilson for 3m is a good move for CCFC' :thinking about:

How do you know who is and who isn't a yes man. I'm not jumping the gun when I suggest that you don't know any of the managers listed.

As for Dowie, he was the first casualty of the SISU era, clearly too much of a yes man for them to tolerate. I think it was 2 months in!

Where did I say that I would be? A classic "Playing Dumb" post from you, as is your style: you know full well what he meant, an "oh no, SISU can't have done something good, they're all evil, aren't they?" piss-take.

Someone's in a good mood today I see. I'm surprised you are showing your face around here after you blindly backed your idol for so long. ;)

Just wondering... what deals and agreements that are being offered to Mowbray, why was it not offered to Mark Robins at the time he left us for Huddersfield?

I do remember Mark Robins saying that he was not getting any assurances from the club regarding its future. What has changed???

Thought exactly the same as this. Wonder whether Mowbray has spoken to Robins.

"Practice" and "Preach" are two words you seem to have difficulty comprehending mate!

Did I apologise to you when I was wrong about something or not?
