Is there a rule, that no club stadium can be bigger than the national stadium?

I was just thinking it would undermine the FA/Wembley.

Man U could make OT 100,000 and sell it out every week.

Just wondering what would happen if a club wanted a bigger stadium than Wembley?

There isn't any rule on that as far as I know. There could be a local one due to the amount of traffic etc like they've got at Wembley.

Was just interested to know.

Assumed, in England at least, no clubs ground could be bigger than Wembley.

Who knows, if there was a bigger stadium, say in Manchester the f.a might have to consider playing some internationals outside London. How good would that be !!

This is why we desperately need the NFL to turn up full time. Mortgage gets paid off quicker. Gets rid of that excuse. Would still be the issue of no other ground being big enough though. Most of our games are above 80k.
