we play millwall away that night which is about 20 mins on the train away from where sisu hq is located.3 oclock on a Tuesday ain't that convenient for most people though is it with work
we play millwall away that night which is about 20 mins on the train away from where sisu hq is located.
book half a day off get down there have a protest and go watch the game! job done!
plenty of fans down that neck of the woods aswell that should be able to get there.
What I don't understand is why there hasn't been any sort of protest for the last couple of games. It just sort of faded away. I don't agree with them anyway so it's doesn't bother me in the slightest.
I agree fully, but as owners of our beloved team they can't be pushed. A good enough offer has to be forthcoming before they release the reigns. A quid and forget your many millions will not be suffice. Joint ownership has a major advantage to both sides. Who wants to be joint owners though?
Go for it, just wish i was in a position to helpMillwall away, Tuesday 1st of November, meet at Oxford Circus at 3pm and pop round the corner to sisu hq for a proper protest.
3 of us ruffled a few feathers when we went last time, so take 50 + they would be shitting it, im gonna email the geezer at the guardian to see if he wants to pop down and Bagot from the cov telegraph is going to come down.
the more the merrier will post a thread about it a couple of weeks before.
so you don't agree with protests against the way our club is being run
At last we have found the only happy sky blue fan, please send me some of your happy pills
When i say "pushed", i mean more along the lines of being forced out as a result of not being able/willing to afford to run us anymore.
No I don't agree with the protests, they come across as pathetic and fickle. I am not happy with the running of the club but the fact is, they inheritered a shit load of problems when they brought us and at the start i think they were trying there best to turn things around, but now i feel they are just trying to recoup as much money as possible before selling us on. They don't want to be here and will be off at the first hint on a serious offer.
I agree they want out.
So why is it that a serious sustained protest will not pressure sisu to sell as they hate bad press. Some times in life when you have had enough crap you just take the quickest exit for less than your original valuation to save credibility with any future investors and current investors in sisu capitol
Exactly who would want to be a joint owner with a lying partner?
50% is probably acceptable to sisu, but probably still to much and yes I'm sure they allow for a % to go go pear shaped..
But I think there reaction to the protest against Derby shows they are very sensitive to bad press as shown by the response to banners (and please don't quote embarrassing fire certificate excuse) a wishy washy open letter and an unconvincing tv interview. What would be the response to a on going protest be?
I think you underestimate the effect on sisu and as there investors are many, the old saying is divide and conquer, only takes a few to wobble and the rest become unnerved and we have seen that on the stock markets.
Who is SISU? Who has money invested in SISU? Where else does SISU have money invested?
Not a lot is known about them or their investors. Why would the investors be worried about bad publicity? Their names would not come up with the bad press. They will want their losses to be kept to a minimum though. Maybe protests at their offices will be the best, but would this cause more than a bloody nose? Maybe just a bit of embarrassment to them.
Excellent thread. Marching is a great idea and we don't need massive numbers to look effective. In fact just a few hundrend would be quite a sight and that is easily achieveable. Needs to be on a matchday and needs to be publicised and correctly policed as we don't want to give away our position being spoilt by a few morons who may use it as a vehicle to cause mayhem. 100% behind the idea and I'm in!
This is the sad truth.
Our fans are used to struggle and just accept it. Most clubs' fans would go mental; not ours.
cos we have too many fans that "cant be arsed" to do anything about it yet they will still moan and cry when were in league 1 in 7 months.well the "action" so far has been about effective as the unions
we aren't in Helmund here
