This guy is so delusional it is not worth even trying to talk sense with him. To support his stupid argument he is now claiming that there weren't really any other bids than SISU's.
Surely he belongs in an asylum?
Well at least he wont be alone in there cant see you know who being let out to mingle with the general population any time soon:thinking about:Well anytime really. Oh I can just imagine the

So when Joe Dhinsa bidded for the club he was proof that there was interest then? If he was a bidder now would you say that shows serious interest?

As my friend The Holy Man clearly wants concrete evidence all the time where is your evidence that any of the bids tabled were in anyway credible? How did you conclude they were in any way serious?

Evidence please.

You sound just like Timothy.

I hate cheese. Can't stand the stuff. It's evil.

Unless it's on Pizza all cheese is CRAP. I think our owners invented it just to wind me up even more:slap::slap:

That would be so much easier than having to "like" every post that disagrees with Grendel and Godiva!

It's be a better balance though wouldn't it.

Rather than go for an 'I hate SISU they're cocksucking rent boys' post for maximum likeage, there could be a competition for the 'I love SISU and want to have Joy's babies while sticking a red hot poker up my bottom' angle, for ultimate disliking.

Far more variety!

How is this even possible? How does someone not like cheese? I'm flabbergasted.

I love cheese myself, but some are obviously taking it to deeper and darker levels than I'm used to.

Need some sort of "safe" word so that people can stop it if it gets out of hand.

Gouda?

Some would be conflicted though, they may dislike the Joy bit, but enjoy the red hot poker up the bottom bit.

Perhaps we could have a poll for every post?

What a ridiculous football club we are.

We now have a section of "fans" who consider themselves superior as they will no longer go to support the club anymore and those who do are inferior - not in it for the long term as if they have a better understanding of the current plight.

Not supporting is damaging and dangerous. Less income equals less revenue equals worse squad equals less chance of potential serious investors.

Of course the supporters of this campaign - not one penny more - in all likelyhood last spent a penny at the club pre decimalisation.

One today who is very passionate lives in Switzerland so the revenue equation is hardly threatened either way. Another thinks season ticket holders at Coventry city are worms (yes he really does). We need to disregard this nonsense and see it for what it really is. A cause without purpose, a protest by those with no desire or intent.

Ignore it. Support the team.

What actually is the point of this rant ?

Anyone else panic when they see these old threads and quickly scurry through to see if they said anything that now makes them look like a right lemon?

Or is it only me?

Don't think you have to go back as far as 2 years to find one to be honest. Try maybe yesterday. :D

I am merely pointing out that I never supported the silly NOPM stance.

I know. But it is best that when you bring up a thread to back up what you say it is best to choose one that you have kept to what you say on the rest of it ;)

Personally I agree with Grendel's sentiment of getting behind the club - but the club owners have kicked me in the teeth at virtually every opportunity they have had to improve the club.
As I have said many times before - I am grateful for them rescuing us from what was an apparent abyss in the final hour.
Their self-centred & self-serving tactics since then, in pursuit of the Ricoh, have been contemptuous right up to the last IMO. Complicating issues at every turn to screw somebody over & get a relatively insignificant (in the grand scheme) better deal, finally having it pinched from under their very greedy noses.
So if all their arguments of old about revenues hold true, we could fill the Ricoh every match & still gain relatively little income from it.
If they want business mentality...they have to expect consumer mentality back (especially as for many THEY have created the now wavering commitment). For me (& I suspect many others) to consume the product - make the product attractive for me to want to consume it is my message to them.
They moved the goalposts (literally!) - not me!
No amount of (thus far) empty promises, corporate bollocks, meetings or surveys will work...firm action is needed.
TM looks like he might be a great choice - but just like when you want a man to dig a trench, giving him a JCB to do it is all very well...but if you don't give him any fuel to start the engine its pointless.

...onwards & upwards PUSB
