Looks good. Saw some pics on Twitter as well, bigger than I was expecting with the way people were talking about it on here.

I like it as it is an appropriate size shop for the amount of CCFC merchandise that is available.

I had my criticism of the Gallacher park shop which I found was far to large for our requirement and especially in the present position the club was in. It always looked bare and we were probably paying way more for the lease than we probably be paying for this shop . I rather save money on the lease and use what we saved to improving our playing facilities at Ryton.

It looks like there are a lot more stock than what was available last season. Well Done!!

Have they ever had changing rooms? I can never remember if the Ricoh one had them, the Gallagher one didn't.

Where do people try on the shorts if they are commando?

The Ricoh shop never had one, I can remember trying on shirts for all the world to see (breathing in of course).

If you are trying the shorts on Commando Nick i hope you get the correct size first time as I wouldn't want them after:eek:

Met a mate there today to get a total of 8 STs, took roughly 45 mins at the one till. To have one till capable of processing ticket sales and two staffed tills selling merchandise seems an odd choice. And even though the queue only had about 5 people in it I felt for the ones at the back. And in the 40 odd minutes it took to sort the tickets I think there had been 2 sales at the other tills.

That said I thought the rest of the shop was an improvement on the old one. The range of stock was not huge, but there was more than enough for me. And they have multiple sizes on display. Some of the training gear looked ok, and the small amount of 'tat' was mainly around the till area. I stocked up on pens while I was there

Also, not sure if it's been mentioned but the children's and concessions' books are a different colour as they are cracking down on people sneaking in on the wrong tickets apparently.

PUSB!

There's a good chance it was all your fault I had to wait so long then. I got there at about 11:15.

Looking good for female fans.
not a solitary item of clothing unless you count the pink baby stuff.
shocking with so many new items they couldn't manage one for the many hundreds of female fans.

Most noteworthy is that the club effectively no longer have a ticket office. They'll be able to sell tickets from the retail tills if needed, but the plan is to do away with the idea of a dedicated ticket office and push everything online (hence the online discount). For high demand away games, they're likely to only release tickets online going forward.

As for the shop, looks alright. Will be teething problems no doubt but nowt to get worked up about.

"Just on the shop. We did target the bigger shop space (former Phones4U) at Arena Park but it was already reserved for someone else. #PUSB"

It does the job to be fair. The only times they will struggle is times like now and 'big games' but the majority will be purchasing tickets online anyway.

Just need to be first in the queue for the next one that comes up. Hopefully the shop will expand with our success.

I think for a shop just doing merchandise it is fine, if we have somewhere in the Ricoh Ground also then on matchdays I think the load will be spread between them.

It is just ticketing I worry about.

Just been in, haven't brought anything other than tickets from the club since 2010 just dropped £100. Feel like we are a real club again plenty of stuff, staff are decent they are trying there best to help people. If people don't like the kit the training stuff is lovely. Plenty of people in there spending lots and it's only half 10

Went up to the club shop today about 11am and again at 1pm and the place was packed both times with loads buying merchandise. Someone is making some serious money, I just hope and pray it's Coventry City......

It is great that the shop seems to be doing well and the selection seems good, it's just a shame that the club couldn't do it themselves as I can't imagine that they get a massive cut of the sales.
