The whole point of pre-season is to get players (new and old) blended into the system. More time the better. It's been a joke so far our summer recruitment

Looking at the team training on Sky Blues player it looks like the U21's

We need players ASAP. Surely TM can attract players here

Exactly, by now I would have expected 2-3 new faces in time for Nuneaton next week. So far we have none which is very concerning. Seems to me many don't realise the importance of preseason for new players to gel

The trouble is Lurker, the players we are going for are probably being touted around a few clubs and agents are trying to squeeze the extra few hundred quid a week out of the highest bidder - and that's fine if you've got money to throw around - we haven't. That's why it's a waiting game and getting the balance between blowing a lot on one good player plus several of dross, versus several reasonable ones must be a fine line !

I'd expect 2/3 signing this week tbh, but I don't mind if not, more than happy to have a shit start this season, if it means we get the right players in the long run.
Plus I'd suggest that it's highly likely we will have a number of players on trial at Nuneaton
