OK, you set the example by paying the wages and the rent. I'm sure others will follow suit then.

No worries, just one favour:

LOL and all that, but it's a serious question. It's great for the SBT and people on here to say just sell the club to so-and-so and it'll all be OK. Who are these people queueing up to buy CCFC?

It's a flawed argument in my opinion, because we can neither prove nor disprove anyone's interest right now. And in the past when potential people have gone public, it never worked out, or the dummy was spat on SISU's end.

We really don't know who is interested unless you hang around with Millionaires and Billionaires.

We really don't know if anyone is interested full stop. Let's face it, there's not a lot to buy, is there?

Christ, the Trust will be sending you a PM within the next ten minutes or so.

I am interested in buying the Club - thing is, I don't have any money :pimp:

With the sudden change in direction from SISU with regards to how they run the club I can't help but wonder if the bigger picture is that they're getting ready to sell anyway. Decent manager, professional retail set up including an outlet in the ground, papered over the cracks at a tired training ground etc.

There's no denying we look a more attractive prospect than we did 2 months ago.

We need Amanda Lamb, she sells Ryton with the bonus of getting a free football club thrown in.

True, but you would think your average billionaire would want something tangible for all his millions. He'll want a stadium, won't he? Why buy CCFC when there are other clubs with their own piece of real estate?

From CT feed -

"New arguments may have some merit

Judges say new arguments may have some merit. But fail to see what remedy can be applied now Ricoh loan has been repayed.

Sisu QC indicates he would like commercial rate of interest to be applied to length of loan while it existed. Meaning ACL would have to pay council more than they already have.

He also indicates they would seek compensation for two years, four months they were "sabotaged" and "had to move grounds" and "suffered adverse publicity"."

Whilst some on here will deny being pro-SISU their actions such as going to Sixfields will always in my opinion be seen as supporting SISU in its failed duspute with CCC. And the lack of critcism for SISU but the unreserved bashing of ACL/Higgs/ACL will always be seen by me as tacit approval of SISU's actions.

Just because SISU are the evil empire it doesn't follow that all the rest are good guys.

There is absolutely no reason to support SISU's actions but just because you hate them you don't have to agree with everyone on the other side of the argument.

Unfortunately, STK like a few posters on here are black and white kind of guys.

"Another spell in court?

Judge says there would be merit to hearing Judicial Review one and two together.

They say that would mean they could be minded to grant permission to appeal.

Discussing how long that hearing would take. Three days seems the consensus.

Looks like we could be heading for more time in court..."

So, they can appeal then?

"Sisu can appeal

Judges are going to give Sisu permission to appeal. Sounds like it will be a date after October 1 this year."

Not at all CCC / Higgs / ACL have got a lot to answer for also but SISU and especially the Sixfields debacle have got it so wrong for so long (nice rhyme). New stadium, the smoking gun, the SCG - they lack credibility but there are certain posters who are very rarely critical of SISU but now are moving on to WASPS bashing now Higgs are no longer on the scene.

Yea but then a lot of people who never set a foot in Northampton get labelled as pro SISU by the idiots on here.

From CT

Sisu could get compensation from council

Sisu have been given permission to appeal. There will be a two-day hearing on the first available date after October 1.

The judges say expediting JR2 might help matters. Judges say Sisu have a "realistic" prospect of obtaining compensation from Coventry City Council if appeal is success.

Is it the same judge as Jr?

Two senior judges this time

This should set them buzzing in the WASPs nest

Didn't see that coming, maybe the crutches and arm sling trick works after all ;)

Be interesting to see what the new points are, clearly that's the difference. Will we find out before the appeal or during the appeal?

The only people we know have been interested in running the club are SISU, the chancer Haskell and a random guy on here claiming he was buying the club. Hardly a ringing endorsement

I have no doubt if the club was put up for sale there would be people interested, however these people would likely be no hopers and shitbags like SISU and co.

No one serious about football investment would look at us twice.
