Thoughts From Boro (2 Viewers)

The Boro pre-season game gave me food for thought. I think theres a lot of work still to be done. Defense looks ok, Vincelot looks like the most committed player i've seen put on a sky blue shirt since Keogh, but the attacking looks a little tentative. But what do you guys think? What did you take away from Boro? Im planning to use the answers for my Cooks Question, so if you dont want your answer broadcast on my show, please say tho. Thanks

You needed the Borough game to tell you that? The rebuild is partially complete, the attacking options are Mowbrey's next transfer targets.

Lets give him some time to do the job. What he has brought in appear to be better than what we have had. Part of his remit is also to develop what he has. He has kept the players he feels want to progress and are prepared to listen to learn. Possibly one reason why Nouble wasn't retained and Stokes was given a 1 year contract.

WWhat did I take away from the Boro gam. The away kit looks Shite and the club might as well name who we have on trial cause the Cov telegraph are happy give away the club's secrets for a few views on a webpage (first they leak the home kit then they publish pictures of trialists and ask fans to figure out who it is)

That wasn't the actual away kit.

was more that they took the photo put it on twitter asking fans to identify the player. add that to leaking the home kit and announcing the signing of ricketts 4 minutes into covs 10 minute count down and you could understand why the club might stop giving them information ahead of announcements for them to report within minutes after. if another team were looking at that kid from spurs and didnt know we had him on trial it could have blown the whole deal as they rushed to make an approach.
