The categories thing is a load of shit too, it's a sliding scale attempt to mask a ripoff. There's no disparity between any two Championship teams that warrants a £25-32 difference in ticket price.

Nailed on there is only one team in some of those categories.

This is the effects of the Sky money trickle down or not. Championship clubs pay PL wages for some players yet get nothing like the PL Sky income.

Its an absolute joke, they have had a new scoreboard, top standard pitch laid, spent some money, new manager and takeover syndrome, then provide them prices to the fans, its scandalous and disgusting.

The question is will people still buy them? If they do they you can argue the owners have just maximised income, supply & demand and all that. If the grounds half empty and total ticket revenues are down, and lower crowds would mean other revenues drop, then the owners will rightly have a lot of questions to answer.

Would we be back at the Ricoh if city fans had packed out Sixfields week in week out ? Much as these prices are ridiculous to most of us it simply is going to depend on whether they turn up or not.

The sad thing is that they don't have to justify it. If people are daft enough to pay it, that is all the justification they need. It's up to the fans, if they just roll over and accept it, more fool them. It needs people to resist and vote with their feet, like when City went to Sixfields.

Yes a rip off, but lets face it, if there are any hints of success people will pay it. If we are anywhere near the top come Easter and the match day price was £30, you would probably get 20,000 at least.
