Had a feeling we would lose this one based on the team.

We have lost our main goal threat in Armstrong and weakened the defence by putting Martin in for Reda.

Not saying we should have done anything different of course, just that we are weakened as a result. 2 key areas, goalscorer and heart of defence.

Bloody hell Otis it is only half time yet.

Swanson possibly injured, not warming up at half time and is just stretching his groin( which he pulled against Oxford) on the bench...

Started slowly but grew into the game and looked more likely to score as the half was coming to an end. Cooke looked dodgy early on but got better and pulled off a decent save. Couldn't do anything bout the goal. Rickets looked very good and brought the ball out ell but their goal came from him playing a poor pass after bursting out from the back and got caught on the counter. Morris not played too well. Ruben looked a little lost at first but got more confident as the game went on and was a lot more involved after that. Definitely a tell still in this.

Missing our two best players by a country mile in Johnson and Armstrong. Just shows how fragile we really are when just a couple are not available. Still 45 minutes at Spotland and still 3 weeks to sort out reinforcements.

Err, what do you want me to say?

I thought before the game we would lose based on the team. Do you want me to now change my prediction of us losing, even though we are 1-0 down?

If I thought we would lose before the game, why would I now change that thinking with us now losing?

Never want us to lose but wouldn't be that bothered by going out early in this.

Sorry but that's crap, we need to succeed in the cups, it's our only real hope for a big pay day. We were out of all the cups by Xmas last year and it was tosh !

1-1 will do. Extra time then pens. And with the amount of strikers we have on the pitch............

Fully agree with Ashdown. It's been said many times on here - if we're in the cups then we have the chance of big games and more revenue.

Normally I'd say fuck the cups, but this year the money will go to Mowbray so let's get as far as we can. League is still more important though.

Ideally for me we'd win a couple and then get knocked out in a money spinning tie in the third or fourth round

Ideally for me get a money spinning 3rd round win and even bigger 4th round ... more money to spend on players

I'd go for money spinning rounds all the way to the final if we're choosing results.
