Defensively Willis in this system
Willis.

The lads behind me spent 90 minutes slagging Willis all night next boo boy target?

With the 4 up top moving around etc I have no issue with the RB doing the majority of stuff defensively as opposed to trying to get involved like Phillips would.

Defensively Willis. He won't end up there, he's a CB, but he's good enough for now and it's good experience for him. I agree a RB would be an idea, but after a striker and possibly a GK.

Besides their second goal, Willis was solid. With the system we play we don't need a morouding full back who makes overlaps. Leave the space for the creative players. Don't see a reason to single him out.

but stokes is a maurading full back who makes overalps, and that left side is all the more better for it.

Wilis could be a bit like Keough; a player who is played at RB, but is obviously a lot better at CB. However, for as long as Reda and Ricketts stay fit, no one is budging them out of the CB pairing.

I do like Phillips, but think defensively Willis is better, and right now, I think we need to keep the partnerships as tight as possible and not 'break' it.

Didn't Mowbray try to sign a right back early on in the summer who chose to go elsewhere. If so tells me is keeping an eye out for on.
