The young Three Lions play Kazakhstan on Tuesday, October 13th at the Ricoh Arena as part of their qualifying campaign...

Coventry City season ticket holders have been given an exclusive two-for-one tickets offer when England Under-21s face Kazakhstan.

The Three Lions will host their Group 9 rivals on Tuesday 13 October at the Ricoh Arena, as Gareth Southgate’s side begin their campaign to reach the next U21 Euro Finals in Poland 2017.

And it will be the third time that the U21s have played at the home of Coventry City, where they have previously enjoyed victories over Germany and FYR Macedonia.

CCFC season ticket holders will be able to enjoy the game with a brilliant two-for-one ticket offer with tickets priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and a £20 family ticket for two adults and two children.

Speaking about the game, U21s head coach Southgate said: “It’s great to take the junior national teams to a Football League ground.

“It’s a fantastic stadium and they create a really good atmosphere, so hopefully we can contribute to that with a good performance in October.

“Hopefully, the squad that we’ll be naming over the next couple of months will be an exciting one for people to come and watch.

“And it’s a chance for those fans who don’t get to see us play at Wembley to see an England side in action at their home ground.”

England have been drawn out in their qualifying group with Norway, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Switzerland and Kazakhstan and start their campaign against the Norwegians in Drammen on Monday 7 September.

Tickets will go on sale for the game at 10am on Wednesday, August 26th and there are also group bookings for 15 people or more (no age restrictions and bookable in advance only) priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions.

Disabled supporters will pay the full price according to their age category with their carer going free and for Charter Standard Clubs there are up to 25 complimentary tickets available on proof of membership with any additional uptake at the group rate.

The game will kick-off at 7.45pm be broadcast live on BT Sport as part of the broadcaster’s ongoing commitment to showcasing the England development teams.

That's the usual trick, put a couple of local team players in the squad to shift tickets.

Yes, perfect example of why the football club needs stadium ownership. This game wouldn't be taking place at the Ricoh if it was only used by Wasps so essentially it is another source of revenue generated by CCFC being at the ground that the club won't receive. Although from the article on the CT it looks like CCFC ticket buyers are being targeted so hopefully the club will receive some sort of payment for access to that data.

Torn on this, tempted to go - especially if Maddison and / or Armstrong are picked, but don't really want to give money to Wasps. Not saying it should be boycott or anything before anyone starts up just my personal feeling.

I doubt ticket sales go to ACL, most of it would go to the FA wouldn't it with the FA paying ACL a fee for use of the stadium? As long as you don't buy any food or drink should be good to go.

Really good to see another England U21 game at the Ricoh. Great news for the City. Would definitely attended but I'm not landing at Gatwick till 8 from Lithuania away. Wish I'd booked the early flight now despite it involving a 3 hour stopover in Kiev!

Think I'll go, although now I've just been reminded this will only funds wasps I'm in two minds!

That and vuvuzela's, horns, screaming kids and the Mexican wave.

Maybe this fixture isn't for me after all :D

I'm very pro-standing at games but Mexican Waves make me want to put Loctite on every seat. We also shouldn't forget face paint, selfie sticks, club shirts (at internationals), jester hats and wigs. All this has no place at any football match.

Hopefully the stewards do full body searches at every turnstile and are equipped with binoculars & tasers inside the ground so unacceptable items are not present and unacceptable behaviour is stamped out quickly.

*Rules do not apply to children (apart from for Mexican Waves).

Not forgetting half and half scarves too!

Was really looking forward to attending this one (alternating work shifts allowing) but so many people have put forward so many valid reasons not to :thinking about:

I doubt it'll be the 'big boys' playing Stones, Kane, Ings, Berahino etc more the fringe players because of the rubbish opposition

Its a competitive fixture so will be a pretty strong team I think, maybe not Stones and Kane as they are on the verge of the senior squad but I'd be surprised if Ings and Berahino don't take part

Will be interesting to see the attendance for this one. A year or two ago I would have said there would be a near sell out, but on the basis of our crowds in recent years, I would guess about 18,000.

I will only go if I can get hold of a free ticket, I hope lots of people go but very few buy the food as they will have ordered extra food and staff to cope with the numbers and that will hurt them more.

Really? Fuck that.

In Basel it was funny to watch fully sober 18 year olds walk into a ground and some how appear twatted after a few bottles of Swiss 0% lager.

I really hope it's a sell out. Will bring a few quid into the City. Looking at rebooking my flights to get back on time.

I wonder if CCFC will be clever here.

The attendance is most likely going to be 20,000-30,000. You'd guess the majority will be people living in Coventry, of course you're going to get some travelling from other parts of the Midlands but the 90% will be from Coventry.

CCFC should be offering 2 adult tickets for £20 for our next home game. Family of four - £30. I'm a ST holder but if I was a casual fan I'd be thinking 'they're making the effort to be here tonight, it's a great deal, the team are playing well, I'll be there'. Obviously it'd have to be a voucher because I doubt they'd have £30 on them to pay on the night.

Half price ticket for the next CCFC home game (Blackpool on the 17th) if you bring in an U21 stub?

Expect there to be over 20,000 there so may be worth trying to bring some of that crowd back.

I just about make it back for 7:45 midweek ko's due to working in London. Got no chance for this one, what a crock of shit. I just do not see any logic whatsoever in this. Idiots! Was looking forward to it too.
