Done it a few times before, beating Leicester at Filbert Street being the best! Very tempted to drive up there today and risk trying to sneak in with the Walsall lot. Anyone else giving it a go?

Done it at Villa a couple of times and it's just a case of keeping quiet. Will Walsall sell their end out? If not I'm sure you could find somewhere to sit on your own.

Make sure that they are selling tickets on the gate before you go. And have a local address with postcode ready as got asked for it once when doing the same It will be a good way to see how much you love your club when we score. I over celebrated at Grimsby once. Had family and friends looking for me as they knew I was at the game. They noticed me when we scored

Technically even if you said were a Coventry City fan - they have no right to turn you away based on the team you support. There is no rule stating you can't enjoy a football match if you support another team. I could understand if the end wasn't sold out and fans were just planning to sit there to cause trouble but that isn't the case. The only reason they can turn you away is the threat of trouble. Let me know how it goes!

I have done it many many times, especially when I went with friends who were supporters of teams we were playing, end of season game at Spurs comes to min and at the final whistle it was very clear I was not alone.I thought this one was all ticket in advance?

I did it once and it was at Filbert Street mid 80's. Had to listen to their fans slagging us off and we scored once and I went in the toilet and did a little jig in celebration ! I was tempted to go today but sod not jumping up when we score so going to listen to the radio instead,and go berserk when Armstrong bangs in his brace !

Done it loads of times. No need to hide who you support either, as long as you are not flying colours and jumping up and down beating your chest. Just keep a balanced view of the game and show an appreciation for a couple of their players. Adopt a home fan as your best mate and things are not a problem.

But off topic but when I lived in Portsmouth I used sit every other week in the away end. Had some great laughs. Watford fans personally stuck in my memory as the funniest occasion. Great banter as they say and real synical analysis

Although annoying it seems pretty sensible, they probably didn't want thousands traveling down without a ticket. When there was probably only 200 or so at most available at the cash turnstile.
