I suspect you will not be able to find one post where you have challenged the council on anything.

You never did explain how you come to that conclussion. I can only presume that you think that the british justice system is corrupt and will somehow ignore the evidence presented to them and rule against SISU regardless or the Judge/Judges procieding over the appeal are not qualified to make the correct ruling on the appeal. Unlike yourself it seems, Judge Grendull has spoken.
Or is it just a case of you defending SISU?

I've never said they should win the appeal. I've always said they never had a hope of winning the judicial review - not a hope.
It was an exercise in attrition.

An earlier post said that at peak time they were struggling for space on the train so the demand is there for more carriages.

Everybody knew years ago that it was in 2 phases and the second phase in 2017 includes electrification removing the need to turn around the train.
The new news is that the station will now be closed after the match as they must fear that first 75 fans on is dangerous.
Storm in a tea cup, but also cannon fodder for council haters.

The CT can be criticised for their lack of journalistic rigour. The council for their naivety and courting of PR opportunities. Or perhaps it was just blissful ignorance on the part of Lucas.

It does, however, seem that wasps are somewhat annoyed by this. It's seems reasonable to suggest that the PR spin the council displayed in public also formed part of their USP regarding the stadium to a London based team.
They definitely were well aware this would not be available to supporters at its opening (and indeed may never) and also clearly fed items to the local media suggesting the opposite.

Have the council overplayed their hand on this. Yes. Undoubtedly. But compared to something like the new stadium? Hardly. How many false dawns have we had on that little Chesnutt? How many times did we have it narrowed down to X amount of sites? How many times did we have an exciting announcement coming in X amount of weeks, months etc. How long have SISU had to provide a business plan, how long have they had to get a design down on paper? In the big scheme of things the Ricoh station is tiny yet the ones who are creaming themselves over it have very little to say about our own overplayed hand and label anyone who does have something to say council cock suckers.

The only side effect of this that I can see for city fans is that you can't catch a train for an hour after the game as apposed to not at all. Big deal. It's not like the Ricoh is in a desolate waste land, there's plenty to see and do. Go and enjoy yourself for an hour, celebrate or drown your sorrows.
So the council put some polish on it on the run up to the elections. Shock horror. Politicians being politicians in this day and age. Who would have thought? I'm surprised that this caught anyone "off guard" it was well documented.

It's clear the council have never valued sport in the local community and are only interested in them as a potential cash cow of headline grabber. To see wasps be subject to their duplicity for once is amusing.

I'd be more concerned about the long term plan for the station if we had a long term agreement with WASPs to use the stadium. After all, we'll be gone in a couple of years, won't we?

Followed up by, "Has the Club forwarded Its plans and request to be Included In the area plan of RBC "?
Believe that should have been In by today to be considered as Monday Is a Bank Holiday

It would no doubt be highly influenced by availability of rolling stock. It would cost an awful lot to bring a carriage from say Crewe to run the service for a few hrs over a game. One certainly would make little difference...they'd need maybe 6-8 of them to provide anything approaching a real service I would guess. That would likely mean people would be priced out of using the service so hardly worth bothering really.
