If he's said we wait until the window closes so Prem teams have their squads before we act. He hasn't kept his word until the event has happened.

Before the season started I doubt if TM had any more idea how we would start than most of us on here.
He had just watched his team give several mediocre performances against lower league opposition without scoring goals,
and I expect he was as worried as us, maybe even more so.
But the addition of Armstrong, and to some extent, Murphy has transformed us, scoring 11 goals in 5 games and scoring in every game. So now he is probably thinking of holding onto his money as long as possible unless someone exceptional becomes available.
I am sure he has highered his sights since we started the season, and he probably recognises that the loss of 2 key players needs addressing with different players to what he thought he needed 1 month ago.
If we can get to January with cash in hand I think that will give us a good advantage over most teams.

thing is tho, several other teams are taking champ players on loan and some of them look half decent. I'm happy TM doesn't broadcast his signings til they're done, but a bit of activity would sooth the nerves no end.

No certainly not. I want him to stick with what he has done so far and that is to source good players and if they are not available wait until they are.

Panicing and signing anyone who happens to be available is false progress. There is still the loans window and then a window in January to add depth to the squad. 2 year job it hasn't changed.
