Should have given it to Armstrong. We are self-destructing tonight

I agree re Armstrong. He's our most in form player, albeit without a goal in a couple of games but the boy k ones where the net is and wouldn't have made it S easy for the keeper as Obrien did, I'm sure of that. Then again I could have said the same retrospectively about the 6 or however many we missed last season :D

Let's hope we get some more players in tomorrow. I was so optimistic after the first couple of games but we seem to have used it as an excuse not to bring in more players.

You really think Mowbray followed that train of thought? Don't be so stupid

Not necessarily Mowbray, but maybe he thought we were better than we actually are. Do you think our squad is good enough?

Their number 2 is lucky to still be on. Two cynical fouls against Murphy, first he got booked for, second he's been let off.

Phillips also got lucky earlier while already on a yellow went one on one with one of their men, both got in a tussle but ref gives nothing to either as both deemed to be as bad as one another.

Another booking for Southend just then

Murphy will get predictably poor ratings but his impact in the game had been vastly superior to Armstrongs
