If only we'd known you can't build a new stadium in a month and a half. Then we could've made plans years ago without alienating half our fans and risking our ability to play in Cov.

Everyone said at the time we wouldn't be ready. End of next season would've been our last at Sixfields, and will be our last guaranteed year at the Ricoh. Not looking like it'll be ready by then.

We were told 18 months ago that the final site didn't matter too much to the design and the architect would be finalised shortly. What happened there?

Quite frankly I don't believe the hold up is a queue of people offering us land. It's far more likely to be inability to secure a site and get permission to build on it.

Are you for real? More likely that its a load of bullshit and there's been no intention to ever build one...

Good point and last paragraph most probably correct!
Most likely to be correct - this crowd seem to have at least attempted in some way to "do over" every organisation/group they've dealt with apart from the administrator (as far as we know) - no wonder they're having problems.

...onwards & upwards PUSB

This thread is about Haris Vuckic yet after about 5 threads it goes elsewhere and eventually to the "new" stadium, fuck off and get a life.

Back to Yuckic, is he any good ?
he is down as a midfielder so is he a wide man or central Tony Mowbray was pretty specific these two players he is on the brink of signing is a winger and a centre- forward.

The Ricoh was clearly always plan A, and there more than likely was never a plan B. If anything beyond the enquiry to Rugby Council has actually happened its only because we've been backed into a corner and lack alternative options.

The next key indicator will be if the club bother to submit something for the Rugby town plan, think the deadline they were given for that is fairly soon. If they have even the slightest intention of actually building the thing even if they don't have the land yet it would be crazy not to get something included in the plan.

More than likely the deadline will zoom past with nothing happening and we'll suddenly hear from Fisher again with some misleading waffle.

Sooooooo, Vuckic.

No a cats chance in hell of us getting him. Wages I suspect would be treble what we'd be able to offer and a Premier League player being shown the door would no doubt attract either lower level Prem League Clubs or Championships Clubs.

If we sign him, I'll donate £20 to a charity of the next posters choice.

Shmmee, I think the 'hold up' is because the new stadium idea was bullshit from the very beginning.

My £20 will now be spent on Mojitos in that case.

* But I'm planning a charity bike ride in 2016 for those who'll say I'm being stingy.

Going on holiday to somewhere nice and hot, weeman?

On my 'mini-moon' mate in the Algarve. Got married on Sunday so having a few days away with the new wife. Now on the champers overlooking the pool in 25 degree heat whilst she's getting herself ready. Winning in life at the moment!
