So what do you say now?

Most of their team would get into ours. He changed things at half time. Good second half performance. More than a plan A and no plan B manager. Who expected anything from this game?

Thanks to the bloke who got the crowd behind us at the start of the second half. Our fans did us proud. Bigi, stay with us. Together we can go far.

Burnley, bring it on :D

I do think he's learnt quite alot in his short time as manager, and seems like hes able to change things when needed. Credit also has to go to the players who seem to have learnt how to play until tue final whistle.

Also great to hear other fans booing at the end (altho i wudjt kind being 6th in the league and certainly wudnt boo if we were lol)

I'll be an AT doubter until he's done a season, same as anyone we have or have had.

Otherwise we get into a city win AT good, city lose AT bad situation which is all a bit playground;)

Either way, he'll be gone before the season is out. Boothroyd took us to 4th and still went the same season

We won't stick with him.

I kinda thought it was boobies, but from a daft angle...

Fxxxing Hell, i think a little more positivity is warranted tonight!!

The fact is that Andy Thorn was good enough to outsmart an in form Leeds on their own patch.

I know it is a marathon and not a sprint, but tonight, for once, will all the doubters give the man credit.

by the sounds of it, we were lucky, could of been spanked 5-0 tonight, it's a decent point but lets not get carried away.

From what you have previously put you want rid of AT for a big name. AB didn't get the boot when we were in 4th. He got the boot when we went months with hardly any points. He had a better squad. He had better players. Maybe SISU don't think we need a midfield as under AB our midfield hardly ever got to touch the ball.

realism please, a great effort from the smallest (numerically) squad in this league,
the CCFC spirit abounds,
well done AT & THE SQUAD,

I've suggested it in 6 or seven 7 times now in different threads ,i started to think it last season ,and have revealed it on here in the last 6 -8 weeks ,AT IS THE NEW JIMMY HILL and this will be the first year of the revolution .Laugh if you must but don't pass me the tablets:thinking about::slap::claping hands::D

you sound a miserable fucker to me. Every game ever played could have ended different, if each team had took all there chances. All that matters is that we got a point AWAY from home to a much fancied team in the top ten. For fucks sake cheer up

if ccfcway and marty are your own creation nick then stop it. If not, and they exist, ban them for their pure negativity. I can hack people who go to games and whnge, but dicks who just whinge without even liking footie is beyond me.

In terms of context and where we are at maybe, but in terms of charisma, wit, passing football, and simple "telling it like it is", I think he's the new Snozz.

Oh and another nonleague gem who AT spotted was Lee Tomlin, then at Rushden, now at P'boro. Mainly a winger but with license to roam and capable of playing up front. We were very, very close to signing him last August, and AT had watched him numerous times, but Aidy had used up all his budget by then. An old fashioned player a bit like a Trundle, he beats players and has bags of creativity. A regular goalscorer, he's stepped up to Championship level superbly.

And Madine, too. L1 top goalscorer at the moment, and we could have had him for 150k.

I can't wait for the takeover and AT given some money to build a squad of young tallented players to compliment what we already have coming through :D

Must be confusing me with someone else, I have never said we should get rid of thorn, I like him. I said he has been sold up the river by SISU.

What use is a big name ?

it was a superb result, i thought we would get humped last night. We all knew that they would have the lions share of the chances but they only managed to score one due to a bit of luck other than that we held the line well. Well done to the boys, AT is doing a great job with the resources he has and is playing some good football at last!

I go to over 20 games a season, despite living abroad, so pretty sure i (like any other fan) am entitled to an opinion.

Forgive me for being so down about our current predicament, despite forking out over 20k in the past few years to follow the club I love and wacth it being sold down the river by the "owners" (whoever they are).

Perhaps I should just settle for the fact that we are lucky to be in this league and are punching above our weight.

If this aimed at me i’ll tell you what i think.
We played well again for 30 mins. Another poor first half performance where we could have been out the game By half time. 2nd half yes very big change and we played well but don’t that that think we’ve turned a corner. Saturday will show that. We’ve got confidence now against struggling Burnley team, where for once this season will be favourites.
I will have a lot more confidence if we get a result Saturday and a performance of more than 30 mins.

Don’t get carried away just yet

Fair point.
A measure of how good AT is will be how Satdee is prepared for,
How we perform from the off......?
