Such mental strength by Cyrus to bounce back from having a stinker to deliver the equalising assist. Great intestinal fortitude!

Useful point but calm down everybody it was only Leeds
What do you mean only Leeds?
You mean only Leeds who are borderline play offs with a game in hand?
You mean only Leeds who before tonight had won 4 games in a row at elland rd scoring an avergae of 2.5 goals per game?

Leeds are a very good side at this level and only narrowly missed out on the playoffs last season.

This caller is spot on about Gael-he is absolutely superb when he has the freedom to come deep and give a quick short pass option. He also has the pace and energy to do that then spring forwards. In fact, just like that Spain U21 lad we were linked with in the summer.

Look at how Leeds have been doing this season. Look at how they are doing at home. Look at our history against Leeds. Leeds have won 43 of 78 league matches against Coventry, losing 15 and drawing 20.

Leeds are unbeaten in five league games, having claimed 13 points out of 15, and are top of the Championship's "form" table. They are second in the Championship's "home" table, and are bidding for a fifth successive victory at Elland Road; losing just one of their last 21 league home games since November last year. Simon Grayson's side are also endeavouring to maintain a third successive clean sheet.

The chance we had shortly before the goal sounds like exactly like what Gael did so well in preseason: surrounded by players and looking like he'll lose the ball any time, has the composure, agility and quick feet to just duck and dive away from them, without having to dribble, and then the passing range and technique to just ping the ball off. That's what we all saw at Nuneaton-the way he just moved like a potentially world class footballer. Thorn has handled him quite superbly to get him now delivering that type of performance at a standard as high as this league.

And to those who say AT is defensive-sticking Woody up front with 15 mins to go indicates otherwise!

Yep, and Leeds were (before tonight) top of the form table in this league.

what happened to the superior snodgrass in the second half ,oh they took him off

Those chunks Deegan kept taking out of him had an impact eventually I reckon. Plus Gael was fresh and protected Hussey better.

Maybe you should take a trip around some of the Leeds forums to see what they think about us before posting more Leeds love here

Gary deegan the new LLoyd Mcgrath

I don't think Lloyd ever scored a goal like the screamer against Blackpool! He couldn't pass as well either. But Deegan is most definitely our hatchet man. He was winding up his opposite number something chronic against Forest.

Listened to the game on some random phone I was fixing (We fix phones) got a few stares when I was pumping my fists like a madman at 9:35pm

Great result, feels like a victory. Hopefully we can take the momentum into Saturday and make it 6 unbeaten at home.

My better half was in London tonight.

She called me when she got back to her hotel - which was with about 5 minutes of the game to go.

She was explaining all about her meeting when I said sorry love, could I just interrupt you to say YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

Her response - "Oh have Coventry scored?"
