Does anyone from here try to phone up? I prefer cwr to mercia but they do seem to always speak to the same miserable people!

far too busy being up themselves,
slightly better than nausia ( oops mercia ),
still mass debating (two words), upon their own self esteem,
stuart hall should cover us, even though he is in his dotage,

I love people who have a reputation for all the wrong reasons! I love this people who slate the team and pick out players but then say they were sitting at home listening to the radio!!!

He was on at the end going on about 442. He really is a pratt of the highest degree.

Whereas first half was the best display of entertaining football I've seen in 18 months.

Now let's get this right, do you all agree that this diamond formation really works? I certainly don't and agree with Ian that 442 would be better suited. Think what he is getting at is the lack of width meaning alot of the time the opposition have 2 players up against our fullbacks! At the end of the day it's alright playing nice football but when you don't win that's what matters, nothing against Thorn but his win ratio is shit.

I see it as we have an abundance of width with Christie and Hussey very often parked wide on the halfway line awaiting balls from defence and midfield (of which there are plenty during the course of most games).

But again and again its that FINAL THIRD when our forwards go missing very often chasing down deadends instead of lurking in the pen area.

Theres a void in that the midfield do not back up the strikers ,we never get enough bodies around the area ,to take avantage of knockdowns ,clearances

Exactly thats why the position at the tip of the diamond is so important. Bell didn't play too bad but he isn't right for that role. I personally like to see juke and platt with Cody running in picking up the loose balls. He looked a Livewire today and a right nusiance

Why would we play a striker who natural inclination is to play off the defenders shoulder at the tip of diamond in midfield? The reason Cody looked dangerous was because he was always on the last man gambling.

Sorry guys but to be Frank let's fuck this diamond crap and go with 442 and try it out. Surely it won't hurt for a few games, play Baker(when fit) and Mcsheff(when fit) and see how it goes. I know it probably won't make a jot of difference but surely it's worth a go. Thorn needs to sort it out because theres no plan B!!!!!!!!

Listened to the post match phone in on i player earlier ,there was another Ian called around 44mins in .I believe he's a guy called Ian Small ,an absolute City zealot, writes a column in jimbo's twist and shout and travels to and from his home in France to watch us,the subject turned to the new contracts offered some of our percieved less able players ,Linnel put the Sisu case of increasing the asset value of the club, thus enabling them garner more investment from existing and new lines of speculator .Ian pointed out that in any market people will only pay what a product is worth and essentially these guys hold no value ,thus they are effectively taking from the business.Conversely it only increases Sisu's strangle hold on the club by ,as we know detering potential suitors ,so why are we all apethetically ,passively ,standing by watching them driving our club into oblivion ,they obviously see us in that way as they've felt emboldened enough to release the ken /Igwe statements this week,For christs sake City fans wake up and smell the coffee, please don't just roll over while they rape our club
