I was in Serbia last week saw the tent cities in Belgrade I was appalled how those genocidal muslim hating Serbs treated these people in contrast to how the Macedonian and EU civilised Hungarians treated and continue to treat them.

The Serbs have had a bad time with Muslims over the centuries, and completely lost Kosovo (with NATO support) which was originally Serb- borderline state you see- they have a completely different perspective to you.

I wish people on here would read posts before they reply to them and try to understand them. By the way "they" have exactly the same perspective as I do.

"They" = the Serbs?

"Genocidal muslim hating" Serbs unless I'm mistaken?

I'll explain it to you I was taking the piss. Look at the original post how have the Macedonian and Hungarians been treating these people? Tear gas, pepper spray and batons,Hungarians building a wall to try and stop them. Then how are the Serbs percieved?

‘Swap 50,000 refugees for Katie Hopkins’ petition launched

http://metro.co.uk/2015/09/05/swap-50000-refugees-for-katie-hopkins-petition-launched-5377095/#ixzz3l658a4Mv

Thousands of people have signed a petition calling for the government to swap 50,000 refugees for Katie Hopkins.

It proposes sending the TV star and columnist to Syria, a move backers say will ‘get rid of the UK’s contribution to the hall of national embarrassments’.

And it claims space could be found by deporting Hopkins’ ‘massive head’.

The petition, signed more than 8,000 times, states the country needs to do more to help refugees, and continues: ‘The UK however has currently not got the space for refugees, no this is not because we are full it is because Kate Hopkins massive head takes it all up, so I propose we swap Hopkins and send her to Syria, a country where I am sure she would be welcome, and instead take in 50,000 refugees, the facts are they deserve a lot more than she does, and it would be a win win all round, we help people and save their lives and at the same time get rid of the UK’s contribution to the hall of national embarrassments.’

Our goverment created this problem and we voted them in so yes we should welcome these fleeing Issis.

God help my kids with the overload on the NHS/housing/policing and employment though.

It seems Cameron's offer is woefully inadequate though from today's announcement.

Woefully inadequate?

Give it a rest please.

The UK has done more to help the genuine Syrian refugees than the rest of Europe put together. We've spent almost £1billion on building camps, feeding and looking after them close to their homeland. I would suggest to Merkel that if the rest of her EU contributed pro-rata, the current migrant crisis would be almost non-existent. Yes Germany has a commercial need for an extra million workers (mostly in the poorer Eastern half) but it is disingenuous in the extreme to dress that up as welcoming refugees and then via the spineless Hollande, pressurise the rest of Europe to 'accept their share'.

I am by the way Serb/Macedonian but born here, and am proud of the fact that in one week in now one of the poorest countries in Europe due to NATO I only saw one beggar and they still find the time and money to help these refugees

The Serbs were very badly treated - with the full support of the EU and NATO.

Perhaps you could give people a bit of insight from a state on the front line BHSB?

People on here seem to be unaware that Turkey, Syria, Egypt, Libya etc. were all majority Christian (or earlier belief system) until converted "at the point of the sword". Nothing to say that can't happen here.

Absolutely ludicrous and nothing but scaremongering in an attempt to create anti-Islamic feeling. We don't even live in a Christian society, I would say that Europe is becoming more and more secular.

I also forget that there the Christian Europe never went on any murderous rampages in the name of religion or occupied countries through bloodshed.

It's been reported today that Germany has said it can take half a million a year for several years. There's only one country doing more than the rest of Europe put together for the Syrian refugees and it isn't us. In fact the mere suggestion that it's us is so far past the realms of exaggeration it's firmly in the bullshit camp.

"Absolutely ludicrous and nothing but scaremongering in an attempt to create anti-Islamic feeling."

Try looking in a few history books.

What reading them, as opposed to looking at the pictures, tells me is that often a 'Christian' state is a minority propped up by a totalitarian dictatorship, often supported by the West and their desire for, well... peace, arms sales, oil - you decide. This, then, breeds resentment among the populace who then rebel to break the dictatorship. Worse, it allows extremists to piggy back on a cause in its name. Often, whatever the intentions, dictatorship broken leads to dictatorship in return; in our own nation Cromwell's Christian dictatorship is a fine example of that, whatever the noble intentions at the beginning.

So yes, I'm afraid that you're scaremongering to the nth degree, because if you actually *were* a historian, you'd know you've painted a brutally simplistic picture, skewed to try and stir panic fear and resentment and, worse, designed to cause division between ordinary people who are just like you or I, but dealt a worse hand in life and who want and need some support.

You're getting confused between Syrian Refugees and Middle Eastern immigrants. It has been reported that Syrians represent no more than 50% of the total numbers pouring into Germany following Merkel's offer to accommodate 800,000. Officials have also stated their surprise at the large number of males aged between 18 and 40 arriving in Germany.

Example: The Sky News report from the rain soaked Budapest-Austria motorway where the reporter asked four young men heading to the border 'Which part of Syria are you from?'

'Pakistan'

And that has what to do with anything?

It has everything to do with it.

Germany's population is in decline.

In January of this year it was reported that 'Germany needs to add 400,000 skilled immigrants to its workforce every year to maintain its economic strength'

Not necessarily caused by a decline in population though.

The UK for example (where the population is increasing) needs 300,000 net immigrants in 2015 for its budget forecast to balance.

This is despite the Tories' "Solemn Pledge" to reduce net immigration to "tens of thousands".

War refugees will be allowed to stay according to De Maziere the Innenminister. I don't think that means Pakistanis. The only ones I saw the other day after they arrived seemed to be Arabs. We applauded them and people here want to help them. I am not surprised that young fit people are making the hazardous journey. I would think that the old and infirm wouldn't make it. Germans are living longer and Germany has a low birth rate. An influx of war refugees, i.e. not just people who have no job or money, but young people who had jobs or were studying, will help the economy, but that is not what is motivating ordinary people to want to help. The Nazis attacking refugee homes and shouting at Merkel and Gabriel caused a wave of disgust and a sense of wanting to show the other side of Germany. The President referred to "Dunkel Deutschland" = dark Germany ( previously Eastern Germany in communist times ) as the areas where the Nazis were on the streets. Trying to associate people you don't know with "bad muslims" or passport burning chancers won't change the fact that there are thousands of desperate war refugees on the run from our enemies.

Germany is distinguishing between economic refugees who will be sent home as soon as possible, and war refugees. New laws to speed up the asylum claims will take effect in 6 weeks. There are a large number of people from Serbia and Macedonia coming in. These countries are considered "safe countries" and these people will have to go home. There is talk of maybe opening the job market to them on a temporary basis because they too are often young people who want to train or study - potentially a benefit to the economy. The Nazis, who object to immigration,, are usually poorly qualified and unemployed. No benefit to the country.

Not forgetting In Germany many women decline to work preferring to bring up a family.
The Husband generally makes enough for this to be so,
They're not so hung up on owning property and renting is far less exorbitant.

There is a tidal wave of terror, death and genocide in the Mideast.
And it is spreading through the world like a Plague.
It is the new modern barbarian horde invasion, but this time instead of horses and swords,
they have Toyota 4x4s, AK-47s and IEDs.
The Mideast Caliphate and Global Jihad threatens Europe, Russia, China, India and the entire world.
No one has successfully dealt with Jihadi War, Militant Islam and Suicidal Terror. You will never win a negotiation with a suicide bomber. Those who are prepared to give up everything for an ideology, in the end will win everything
===
Today Jihadists are sweeping from North Africa into Sub Saharan Africa: Mali, CAR, South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya, Chad and Nigeria.
And in the Mideast, after Syria is pacified, watch for upcoming invasions of Lebanon, Kurdistan, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan and Iran.
And using land bridges sweep across Turkey Asia Minor into Europe, the Balkans, Slav Republics and on to Vienna, Berlin, Bern, Paris and London.
The horde will be especially effective on the vast under populated Russian Steppes.
Global warming has blunted a key Russian defense: the Weather.
And may in a few decades the Horde threatens to invade China.
The Great Wall of China may need to be resurrected as a necessary fortification.
-
The good news is Arabs do not swim.
And island nations, separate continents, Oceania and the New World can be spared barbarian invasion if it controls the air and the sea routes.
And controls immigration.
The Americas, Canada, the UK, Australia, Japan, will be spared if they can exclude or limit Muslim migration.
===
Syria, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Kurdistan, Chechnya, and Somalia will not be easily solved in your lifetime or even your unborn grandchild's lifetime.
Add Iranian nukes, Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mali, and Palestine.
It is Islamic Su-Shi World War III.
WW II mercifully lasted less than 8 years. THis conflict has been slow burn for a generation and probably will burn for several generations.
Religious wars have historically been waged for centuries if not a millennium.
Muslim migration is the other invasion prong: get in for humanitarian largess, out breed the natives, establish mosques, establish Sharia Law, cow the pacifist population with terror, take over the electorate, and change Europe forever.
The Crusade Wars lasted over 500 years.
Surprise! Save the last 200 years, it was just a temporary dormancy. Muslims know the Crusade Wars between Christians and Muslims is back on full-spectrum now with modern weapons like AK-47, IEDs and plastic explosives.
Christianity is now dead in Europe. Islam will fill the vacuum.
Study history. It offers valuable lessons for Europe. Or else be prepared to re-live the past.
Instead of modern military strategy, study Ghenghis Khan.
Khan's strategy resulted in more conquests than Napoleon or Hitler combined.
It will not be tanks and battleships, but a walking invasion.
And demographics, baby births, and religious conversions.
It is slow but steady, taking decades not months.
As fast as the Goths and Visigoths of Rome.
Muslim Barbarians Hordes are again knocking on the Gates of Civilization.
Do not underestimate barbarian horde invasion.
It was a successful strategy in the past.
It has had a role in the decline and fall of every major civilization.
And History has a pattern of repeating itself.
Barbarians in the end overthrew the empires of Rome, Greece, Byzantium, Persian, Mughal, Ming, and Ottoman.
Why not modern civilization too?

But there again, I may be wrong.

I bloody hope I am!

PUSB.

The good news is that you are in all probability wrong. Recent history shows that we screwed this region. We screwed them after WW1 ( Lawrence of Arabia stuff and Broken promises ), after WW2 ( Israel etc ), 1. Gulf War ( Iraqi Opposition betrayed ) 2. Gulf War " Mission Accomplished" and in reality not a clue about what to Do next. Plus lots more. Now Muslim war Refugees are arriving exhausted and desperate.... So you propose to turn them away and let them rot where they are ( they can't go back )? And they ( the People Fleeing our enemies ) are the bad guys? All part of an islamic plot to take over the world? Far fetched and reminisent of Nazi anti jewish propaganda.

It appears the vast majority of these refugees are men which is odd .
Do the government have any idea if or how many of these refugees are criminals or have links with ISIS or any other militant group .
Cant believe so many brits are soaking in this bull tbh

Nope, how can they see if they are linked with ISIS or have been criminals? Didn't ISIS say they would be trying to send members into countries?

*This is not me saying everybody is from ISIS, but how many are in with the people needing help?

Isis said they would , and no doubt there will be bad eggs with this influx .
I just fear that the wishy washy let them all in attitude will come back and bite us and hard
