Happy birthday Oggy now piss off somewhere else...but thanks for your years here

I don't get the beef with Oggy. Burge is probably the first dodgy keeper we've had in years (excluding loans). He was still coaching the likes of Kirkland, Hedman and Westwood.

I never liked him as a goalie not that good on crosses on distribution (sounds familiar) and carried on to long but I know an ex academy keeper who says is was a very good coach to work for.

could we not just wish him a happy birthday. do people go round in real life wishing people a happy birthday before going on to tell them how rubbish they are ???

Think the point being made is it seems a little disingenuous to wish someone a happy birthday in one breath, whilst telling them to fuck off in the next!

And it seems there is an increasing minority asking for Oggy to go, based on what? Who has seen him coach? Or even has the slightest idea what Oggy does on a day-to-day basis?

I'm not saying he's the best coach in the world (as I don't know), just curious why people think he should go. And I'm not having the losing culture thing, Oggy was a key part of the only winning team CCFC have produced in the last 30 years.

Happy Birthday Oggy!

Happy Birthday Oggy. As I've only seen him as a goalkeeper which he wasn't bad at. Never seen him as a coach so can't comment on that.

Point of order, but he was youth coach when they were about. It was the likes of Blyth, Hodgkinson, mcDonough as keeper coach then.

But anyway, he was doing Murphy so if he's all that, then he must have done OK ;)

Anyway, as it's a happy birthday then yes, it's a (belated) happy birthday.

Everyone who won us the cup deserves that, and without him we'd have gone down sooner too...
