19 year old attacking mid. Sounds like one for the future when the likes of Murphy go back. Nice to see Mowbray planning ahead.

Still need a RB though :/

You would think our scouts would know about said England Training camp though and would be down there having a look.

If true must be a decent prospect, we need to convince him coming here will be better for him than going where they hate the English !

I've lost track, is this who Mowbray was talking about when he said he was looking at someone that would play in the U21s?

No that was the defender from Middlesborough we bought in, his name escapes me. This is a completely new lad, maybe some one Goodings has scouted before.

Not sure how this works, he's on a contract but the club is part time. I'm guessing the fee would be a 10% sell on clause and maybe a few youngsters on loan?

Im pleased to see we are actually looking at the lower leagues. Seems like an area we have neglected the the last few years... Stokes aside, but that was probably just because Hockaday was here.

Yup, plenty of players good enough down there to thrive at this level. Also you find they have a much greater desire to succeed than already-established league players given they've worked much harder to be given the opportunity (a la Stokesy).

Can we make a pact right here and now to never, ever, ever say 'a la Stokesy' again?

But was he shite ? He was in a shite team managed by a shite manager. There are a few examples of ex-players and loanees that have been here under other regimes who have and are doing okay elsewhere, Nathan Cameron being one.

Agree. I always thought Hussey was a decent player. Not sure why he had everyone on his back whilst he was here.

Same with Ryan Haynes a 17/18 year old kid obviously in the team too early but did okay for a bit, still gets stick by a number of plebs on here, now Tony Mowbray has praised him on record as much improved and almost ready for first team action will these same plebs give the kid time or be on his case the first off game he has.
