Sure as long as you aren't trying to antagonise.

We probably deserved a draw and the referee was poor but thats the way it goes somedays.

I dont intend to antagonise.

Make me laugh you lot.Debating our goals but not your own, where our keeper was clearly impeded by the big guy up front.Never played our best but still won.3 main players missing too.

Cov Rejects 2 Cov City 1.

Enjoy your night Guys and remember "ITS JUST A GAME".

It's safe to say if Clarke gets injured you'll get relegated.

I agree is only a game but beware the Clarke effect! come xmas he will have fucked off everyone in the dressing room as usual - the guy distabalises every damn club he has been to their is something in his makeup to suddenly want more money when he sees that he is the leading goalscorer and no one at the club can take his mantle

But not 6k fans that will allow you to spend enough to replace Clarke's wage.
That was just a rally cry to the pathetic Bury public.Dont know if you have heard of peel holdings (john whittaker) or not,but he isnt a millionaire he is a billionaire. He bought us the 5 year lease of Carrington with a further lease if wanted.

We should not have let Cameron go. Was brilliant yesterday, yes he had a couple of very dodgy games for us but I thought he showed enough promise during his time with us. Look at Ben Turner and how he improved.

Cameron will ply his trade in the Championship, that's for sure.

At last a positive comment from one of you. Sometimes you have to credit the opposition and I thought we got our tic tacs spot on yesterday. Reading some of the comments pre match we had no right to be even on the same pitch as you, but your attack, which was going to rip us apart by all accounts, was made largely ineffective. I just love it when the opposition underestimate us and perhaps your team did as well, expecting "Little Old Bury" to just roll over and have their tummies tickled. I thought we largely controlled the game until Flitcroft substituted Mellis, who had been having probably his best game for us, and after that we sat back and let you come at us making for a nervous last 20 mins. He should have left well alone, if it's not broke.....
Of your "useless" old boys, Pugh and Brown were only signed short term as squad players, but have been involved lately due to our main midfield pairing of Tutte and Etuhu being injured. When these two are back along with Tom Pope, Ryan Lowe and Daniel Nardiello, (our leading scorer last season), I think we'll have more than enough to cope and very much doubt we'll be relegated without Leon Clarke, as one of your posters has suggested.
Anyway, best of luck for the rest of the season.

Many on here make me laugh too mate.
Being played off the park & still winning is the stuff all successful teams do...good luck to Bury.

Its like England last night - no good being the best team if you can't put the opposition away. That's why Arsenal can't win Champions & Premier League anymore

...onwards & upwards PUSB

Sometimes you just have to credit the opposition for getting the tactics spot on and not letting you play. We had a rude awakening when Fleetwood came to Gigg and absolutely murdered us but most people were big enough to acknowledge that they deserved their win. As usual with Billy Big Boots Clubs, like yourselves and The Blades, "Little Old Bury" had no right to even be on the same pitch and were in for a right tonking by your team of superstars. Every team starts the season with a "World beating Squad" according to their supporters, but over the course of the season, unfortunately, reality bites and to be honest I'd never heard of the majority of your team apart from the two ex Premier League subs, who came on in the 2nd half, and Armstrong, but only because he was the L1 leading scorer. Lets be fair, the two ex PL subs, are on a downward spiral otherwise they wouldn't be in L1, with yourselves or anyone for that matter. Well we also have 3 ex PL players on our books, Kelvin Etuhu, ex Man. City, Jacob Mellis who Chelsea once signed for over a million and Tom Soares, signed by Stoke for over a million.
C'mon Sky Blues you've been in this League long enough now to show a little humility.
As I can only find one positive comment on this thread, and that about Nathan Cameron, who was immense last Saturday.
Thought I'd include the below comment, from a supporter of our opponents tonight, which shows how a neutral saw the game.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

I was at the Bury v Coventry match, Bury pass well, Leon Clarke is one to watch, when he gets the ball he is goal bound at terrific pace.

Spot on mate, good luck for the season. Good side are Bury and will definitely be in the play off mix come May.

I agree with the comments Shaker1 but if you had only heard of 2 players you must not follow football as much as a normal fan.

Yes we all need a little humility. This is a tight division and at least 10 teams (including bury and ccfc) will be in the mix come the end of season. In Clarke you have a proven goalscorer at this level and that will be improved over the coming months. Good luck and I hope you finish as runners up....mind you I can't really see us finishing top

Clarke is a match winner alright he's always likely to get goals in league one he is moody and shit on us but he's a great signing by Bury will definately be challenging to be top scorer this season. I backed him to be league one top goalscorer 20/1 two seasons ago and was feeling confident until he put in a transfer request and went to wolves
