Cant believe this thread hasn't been started yet.

After being a little negative earlier in the week Ive now changed my mind regarding this game.

Going for a 3-1 city win.

It's one thing to lose to Walsall; it's quite another to not tonk Shrewsbury. Maybe not 12-0 but this could be a goal-fest.

4-0 City. Think the Shrews are on for a hiding tomorrow. Actually, 0-0.

We are expected to win, so we wont. 2-2 draw. Goals from Reda and Fortune. Would not be surprised if we miss a penalty.

To be fair, looking at shrewsbury's stats, they've scored 11 goals in 10, and let in 12.

Will be a close game, that's for sure.

Unless we can score early.

3-1 City. I think we will see more exciting attacking play with Murphy, Armstrong and Reda scoring. A few scary moments at the back but comfortable in the end

I'm going for 2-2 tomorrow with the inevitable double for the Shrews from City fan James Collins

Ticket sales look healthy, hardly any left in block 22 and we sat there with plenty of empty seats v Chesterfield.

Quick seats shows 1783 standard zone and 724 family zone.

Oh and 2-1.

The only change I'd make is bring lamieres in for either Kent or Murphy. Think we need his calmness in the final third as Kent in particular chooses the wrong option 9/10. And JOB, Kent and Murphy as a trio are too frantic.

Buzzing for today, bringing my Uncle and Cousin for a change, it's my Cousins first trip to the Ricoh.....not sure how much of the footy he'll watch, he likes his gambling so not sure if we'll prize him away from the Casino !

I reckon a fairly healthy win 3-1, Armstrong (2), Reda

It’s certainly a great arena to play in, and I’m looking forward to taking the lads there," said Micky.

"I expect it to enthuse the lads. We go there with the same attitude that we try to have for every game and hope the lads enjoy playing at an arena like that.”

Micky was disappointed with Shrewsbury's start in the game at Rochdale on Tuesday night, which saw the hosts race into a three-goal lead.

But he is looking to move on swiftly ahead of the game against Tony Mowbray's side at the weekend.

"It was so uncharacteristic, but that’s football, that’s why it’s such a magnificent game," said Micky.

“Nobody is guaranteed to win, nobody knows what’s going to happen.

"You plan, you prepare and try and guess which way the game is going to go but I can be honest and say I’m not a coach who prepares the team to be 3-0 down within 15 minutes! I was really frustrated.

"To score two goals at Rochdale, if you told me we were going to go play on Saturday and score twice, then I’d probably expect to win.”

On Coventry, Micky added: "They’ve had their tough times, they’ve always been a big club and clubs of that size always fights back and eventually gets back to the level that they are.

"I’m sure that’s what Coventry are aiming to do."

Micky has provided updates on the fitness of Jayson Leutwiler and Jermaine Grandison, who are both to be assessed ahead of the game.

“They (goalkeepers Leutwiler and Mark Halstead) both trained today, which was a bit of a hallelujah moment over the last few days," said Micky.

"We’ll see how things go over the next 24 hours but we got a good session in (on Thursday).

"(Jermaine Grandison) also trained (on Thursday), and again we’ll see how he reacts.

“He trained well this morning, he was probably a wee bit rusty, but you’d expect that as the big guy has missed a lot of training sessions and it will take him a wee bit of time to get warmed up again."

On his team selection, he added: "Without trying to sound like a broken record I will always try to pick a team that can really go out and represent us."
