Being linked with the Rotherham job and his name has been linked today with Sunderland, not surprised what he is doing with Burton Albion is unbelievable really. Hope he gets one of those gigs just to unbalance the Burton boys

I can see him going on to bigger things. Going to be very hard for Burton to hang on to him I would have thought.

He'd be an idiot to take on the Sunderland job - it's a revolving door. Unless he's offered an insane amount of money, I'd stick with Burton and get them promoted. Maybe he can negotiate a nice bonus if they go up.

He will end up at a good championship club very soon, better than Rotherham.

A team like Leeds or Nottingham forest

Yes he will be just like mowbray etc linked with other jobs and if someone chucks enough money to get mowbray or a hasselbaink then they will move on. That's football.

Rogers for Sunderland I wondered why his odds were not massive in the betting earlier

Anyone else worries by Sunderland going for Tony mowbray? North east links?

Does he still live up there?

not really - TM has got to improve his worth - going to Sunderland - they will probably still be relegated, and it could be his last job.
A bit of success here and he will have a future (albeit at a higher club ) -so no not worried about sunderland

Wouldn't worry too much about Mowbray heading to Sunderland, Allardice is nailed on for that job. At least until Christmas anyway.

JFH needs to prove himself at Burton and get promoted to the championship before the big offers come in. You see too many young managers ruin their reputation by taking the 'big' job before they have earnt their stripes.

Exhibit 1 your honour - Tim Sherwood.

But it looks like Liverpool are about to appoint Jurgen Klopp on probably more than 5 million a year. Without doubt has a good record as a manager in a good league butis it better than say Gary Monk or Eddie Howe in the league Klopp will be managing in. Hesselbaink certainly ticks a lot of boxes, played at the top of English football, done his managerial apprentiship helped turn a small town club into a proper force in the third tier of English football, now i'm not saying Hesselbaink should be Liverpool manager but why not Monk or Howe and then JFH move in at Swansea or Bournemouth thats natural progression.
