Why would that of happened? Wasps owner wants to own the ground outright which is why they turned down to opportunity to be partners in a stadium build in London.

Well actually no, the judge that agreed the appeal seems to think they would have gotten more money that way, which is why he allowed the JR appeal.

But would ACL folding put a risk on the stadium freehold?
Not sure what would happen to other tenants if ACL stopped paying the bills on the buildings they are renting.
Could possibly be a big domino effect that would have employment implications.

What about conditions like veto? Are you sure there were none at all?
Why did sisus not get accepted then I'd it was the same money and the only difference was community work?
Wasps was 100% from the start wasn't it?

So on one hand you have a rugby club moving 85 miles after Higgs had spent over a year saying what a disgrace it was to move a club from its community and on the other you have a club who has been in the city over 100 years wanting to pay the same amount and also do charity work that was in line with Higgs stated objectives at the time.
Why should the owners of a club who have played in the city over 100 years have to pay more to own half their stadium than a rugby club from London?
You would think that wouldn't you. Its an odd world where wanting to work on community projects is a negative.
Or more accurately those running the Higgs trust decided to completely change the objectives of the charity and didn't think to mention this to anyone until after they had rejected the bid. Of course they could always have said to SISU we'll accept your bid but the charity is changing so we can't work on any joint community projects.

Selling to SISU didn't fit in with their plans.
Its ironic because I'm fairly certain had Wasps proposed the same idea Higgs would have thought it was a great idea and people on here would be waxing lyrical about it about how great they were interacting and engaging with the local community.

You need to a differentiate between sisu and ccfc. It was for ccfc to do joint ventures with Higgs not Sisu Ltd. we're talking about the football club who has 100+ years of heritage in the city and with SBITC a robust community offer.
They seem happy enough to want the club to come back and as joint owners of ACL allow them to rent the stadium, they also seem (with their interest in Alan Higgs Centre) happy to allow the club to keep their academy at the AHC. In fact didn't PWKH agree the CVA?

You would do much better saying that SISU are running our club much better now. They are. It was a SISU bid and not CCFC. Higgs would have had to work with SISU. Nobody in their right mind would invest anything with them.
