Who we missing? Assuming only Armstrong I would line up with following......going with experience
to grind out the result 4-2-3-1.

Burge - but would be happy if RCC selected neither done much wrong.
Ricketts
Martin
Johnson
Stokes
Fleck
Vincelot
Kent
Fortune
Lameiras
Tudguy

Subs: RCC, Phillips, Haynes, C.Thomas, Lawton, Aliyford, Murphy (needs kick up ass and has played crap away to date)!

Kent's away too.

Sorry you are right would stick JOB in for Kent would bench Murphy to kick him up the ass and rely on old heads of Fortune and Tudguy
to score/make the necessary goals!

Well that's the problem. I think he will only be included because we will struggle to put in anyone else.
I'd go with Tudgay and Fortune, Lameiras and Murphy on the flanks with Vincelot and Fleck holding. Think it could be effective away from home.

I dont know why there are so many JOB haters around. I dont mind him personally... He makes a few mistakes but always gives 110%.

Not JOB haters at all. I rate the bloke, but he has been a pale shadow of his best these past few games. I know he was ill and that may have some bearing on things, but he has been poor lately.

I'd have him in just....Tudguy should be ahead of Murphy and JOB for this away tie....just feel Murphy needs kick up ass more
and has been very ineffective in away games so needs to be benched!

Their top scorer has 2 goals. In fact five of their players have 2 goals. They actually have a decent goals tally but their weakness is goals conceded. So we need to take advantage of their weak defence. But we could not do that against Yeovil, and Fleetwood are a better team than Yeovil. So I'll have to predict another draw 1-1. Just not confident we can beat anyone without the absent players.

cant afford to lose this one - as blackpool is followed by 2 more away games
win this and we are flying with this weekends fixtures

walsall burton
sheff u rochdale
bury wigan

gillingham and port vale also in away games

TM should really get them wound up for this one, and use the Elvis factor as extra motivation

Err, haven't I just chosen him in my starting 11 for Saturday? :thinking about: I've just picked him to play!

He has been out of sorts lately, but I would certainly play him on Saturday.

yeah but you are so scared to play him

scared to play tudgay too

add stokes, vincelot, reda and fortune back to that team and its super strong

o brien and lamieies/tudgay can fill in for kent/armstrong for 1 game

we are good enough to win, if we dont lets look at team performanc before blaming replacements individually

I'm not scared to play anyone. What are you wittering on about you damn fool! :D

You said 'So never play him again?' And I have him in for the very next match. Lol

I would just play Lameiras instead of Tudgay on Saturday.

The reason being that both Fortune and Tudgay are players who hold the ball up to bring others into play rather than being out and out goal getters. Similar players in some ways. Lameiras playing just behind Fortune (or Tudgay) would provide that creative flair we need to create opportunities. With JOB and Murphy on the flanks they can then give us more goal threat from cutting inside, supporting Fortune (Tudgay) or supplying crosses.

I just wouldn't play Tudgay AND Fortune. I would like to see Lameiras giving us the creativity to support one of those two target men.

Oh and if I haven't mentioned it before, I would play JOB too.

Assuming everyone carrying knocks has recovered, I would go with a front 3+1 of Murphy, Lameiras, JOB and Fortune. If Fortune is knackered after 70 mins or so as last week due to the physical effort he put in, then Tudgay to come off the bench as a like for like replacement.

2.1 City win Fortune and Reda with the goals.

RCC

Ricketss Martin Reda Stokes
Vincolet Fleck
Obrien Lamieres Murphy
Fortune.

Or it be a scrappy 1.0 Fleetwood win Dobbie 89th with Pressley and McFarlane cupping ears to us lot after 89 minutes of abuse...

This weekend will be the start of another new and exciting chapter at Fleetwood Town Football Club and we need you to be a part of it!

Get behind your Club, your team, your players and your new manager Steven Pressley on Saturday as we face one of the giants in League One, Coventry City!

The story takes an ironic twist as new manager Pressley pits his wits against his former employers, the Sky Blues, at Highbury Stadium!

Under the watchful eye of Pressley, the Cod Army fought back from a goal behind to overcome Shrewsbury Town in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday night.

So, let’s help Pressley and the team start the new era in the best possible way with back-to-back home victories.

The new manager said: “I will be relentless in my pursuit to try and take this fantastic football club forward.

“Anybody that knows me knows how intense I am. I am an absolute workaholic and I will work tirelessly with my players to improve this Club!”

gutted i can not go today, wife is on the brink of bringing jnr into the world!I think today will be a decent chance to see how the others react. i would think Ruben and O'Brien will come in for Kent and Armstrong.... i just hope we get a result a draw wouldn't be a bad result but a win keeps in us the mix, and could put is up a place or two!

Would be well pleased with a draw, but if everyone is on their game we are certainly capable of winning.

I just hope they don`t perform the way they did the last time we were up against a former manager.

A good win (by 2 goals or more) would do a lot to dispel fears among fans and maybe within the club that we are too dependent on Armstrong.
