All these police in this photo and not one single one of them has Ann Lucas in handcuffs.

The sooner the grass roots gets their act together and get new councillors in, the better. There has been a huge vote for change within the party, which looks like its being ignored by the tory-lite councillors in Coventry.

For a local party, who do not understand the concept of making a correct social choice, from what I have read in the local press. It worries me that they're now after more powers for themselves, through this devolution deal, without giving the people a say in whether they should have these powers.

So they've appointed volunteers effectively to police the campus. Brilliant :D

Well it was either that or get 'volunteers' from 60 odd miles away to buy our police force and take over here, leaving our own special constables to have to rent their uniforms and kit off them.

It's also nice to know that it's not only CCC who have their fingers on the pulse and are not blinkered as to what the real world is like and talk with rationality and well-reasoned argument.

The man behind a successful gay support group, Push Projects, has revealed a local councillor in Warwick told him not to bother launching the group because “there are no gay people in Warwickshire."

I wondered why we had a greater proportion of them here in Coventry. Now I know why. All the gays from Nuneaton and Rugby and Warwick and Kenilworth must have all moved here!

The councillor in Warwick clearly doesn't know the Rugby mayor then.
