Anything less than a 5-0 win is unacceptable.

They were a strong side but we gifted them their to goals.
Short corner from the left IIRC and poor cover at right back for the curled shot whee Burge just watched It
Was that Philips at RB?
One of Southends goal was a penalty, the curled shot was against Crewe.

I don't think anyone is underestimating blackpool. It's ok to go into a match expecting to win though

That's what woukd be champions do

To be fair the Fleetwood game was a typical City loss with Presley being in charge ....that didn't happen therefore total optimism time.. 2-0 will do

Not sure that the Sixfields move has had that big an impact. The current average exceeds the pre Sixfields L1 average or at least equals.

There's an argument that we should be seeing an increase from seemingly improved chances in the league. So without Sixfields we'd have seen maybe 14k this season (or whatever).

Too many variables to reasonably guess though. What matters either way is we've reversed a downward trend for the first time in a long time.

The impact has been lacklustre teams since relegation from the premiership ...its been a history of shit managers and teams . First game relegated from premiership we beat Southend ( I think )were going back up ..we cried .. cocky really ...and year on year we have played but without real promise. Its totally understandable people lose interest....but positivity will come back ...broken hearts are hard to heal ...lets hope TM carries on with the resurrection..pusb

how to heal the hurt & get more people to the ricoh,
well, i spent several weeks asking as many as possible, of those who no longer go & 93% said it's because of the owners, there was also a significant number, 52%, who said they'd reconsider if a certain, TF, left the club.
the council too were mentioned 38%, plus the FA 40%, both for their ineptitude at decision making. london midland also came in for criticism & ridicule
so, whilst listening to their views i still emphasised that under TM it really was a pleasure to watch CCFC

apologies for getting away from the OP, vs Blackpool this sat, well, someone is due to be on the receiving end & here's hoping for a 4-0 at least, with a crowd of 14k+

I think that battering is going to have to wait for the precocious waif #JM10 to return.

People won't go because of tim Fisher who has pretty much been silenced? Why?

Why would people not watch ccfc because of the council???

nick, just to clarify, i was asking those who no longer go, for their reason / or reasons for not going, & further was / were there any specific bodies, or persons that they had a beef with.
i certainly wouldn't put into print a huge amount of what was said about TF, & unsurprisingly he is about as popular as - ---- -- --- --------, not my opinion, theirs.
people vote with their feet, & each take their own viewpoint, & have their own opinion on who is responsible. i was merely trying to put forward some of the views held by absent fans

I hate Fisher with a fucking passion. But to not be going right now when we are playing some of the best footy in ages, winning at home and playing in Coventry, is fucking mental.

If you're any sort of City fan you should be desperate to see us right now.

I don't know any City fans who have converted to being Wasps fans.

I know Cov fans who go to the wasps games . I think many Cov schools , certainly from my era prioritised Rugby in PE over football ..so many have it in their blood . And the chance to see a successful rugby team has been snapped up by them ....but they still love the sky blues

The most common reason given this season is that despite league position the home games have often come after a poor result away. Not the case this week so hopefully an nice bump in attendance.

Would really like to see us consistently at 13K or more so we can put some pressure on for a budget increase in the January window.

Blackpool have improved recently will not be easy I think....would snap your hand off if you offered me a 1-0 to Cov scoreline right now!

Talk of 'good riddance' to non attending fans is just silly. We need them back to develop the club for the future. A lot of people stopped enjoying going for a while due to the poor performances on the pitch, our owners gave them the perfect opportunity to call it a day. This has changed and we need them back up there to kick the club along.

Very confident trust in mowbray.

All,as a lifelong cov fan living in London all my life I have just bought myself and my son a season ticket purchased today.

AQuestion any idea when I will receive the tickets as I selected delivery by post?

hopefully we'll before Blackpool game, surely it only takes a day or two to despatch tickets.

Well excited! To watch this quality of passing(not pointless sideways passing) attacking with pace football is a pleasure to watch and for 235 quid a bargain imo.

lets get behind Mowbray! And the team...no doubt there will be dodgy days with this relatively young team...but the fearlessness and freedom is a joy to watch! Winning football.

The atmosphere is as good as it's been for years.

Play up Sky blues!

Good to hear! Usually when I order tickets unless its a massive game and they are swamped they turn up within a couple of days.

Don't you know Italia?
But has it stopped him coming to watch the City?
That is the funny thing people on here actually believe we get shit crowds due to Wasps.
Others hope a sport would die because it will bring more people to watch football.
I work with a Villa fan who told me they have supporters who only have away season tickets and never go to Vile park (don't blame them really).
So yet again not a unique thing for the City.
Back to the thread easy 3-0 with Blackpool having a week off hope they have eaten a few more pies.

to further clarify, if that is req'd, the sample size was in excess of 200, and less than 5% mentioned wasps & that was after reference to the fact that you could watch a game with a beer in hand,
i, too, am in agreement that not to go & see CCFC @ the mo is plain daft if you are a latent CCFC fan

Have you posted the survey on here or online anywhere?

as i posted earlier, it took weeks of chatting with fans who don't go & to elaborate, i jotted the responses down in my trusty notebook, perhaps i should do a formal survey,
the majority of those i spoke to didn't read this forum tho, & no i didn't count that %

There certainly is a resentment/hatred for Tim Fisher amongst many supporters, remember most don't post on websites, he is seen as the link to the bad times and untrustworthy yet for some reason he is still here but appears to have been gagged. I myself go to every home match but bulk at buying a season ticket while that man is still here as i said for me he is untrustworthy, even his photographs look as if they have come off crime watch.

can you please provide the standard deviation of the responses, and where the upper and lower quartiles sat.
To be fair though I have heard that some of the Polls eg for the general election use staggeringly small samples
