According to Jim brown ..after 11 games its the best start since 1981 , also using 3 points a win , we are 1 point off 1964 championship points tally after 11 games (using 3pts a win)..and 1 point off our best ever start to a season PUSB

I remember that 1964 season we started off battering teams and I think we had an eleven point lead and that was with 2 points a win but same old city went on a right wobble and only secured promotion on the last day

Happy days. Fingers cross it can be sustained. Keep in or around the top six till Xmas and get attendances up and it we might even see TM get a bit of extra money.

4 wins 3 draws 5 defeats from our next 12 games would have us on 37 after half the season, and still probably in the top 6.
Surely we can do better than that!!

Well obviously the more points the better. I just think stay in the mix until January and see what happens then. If we get to keep our loan players, Madders comes back and we get a bit of extra budget then we will be in a position to really go for it.

However if all our loan players go back and everyone but us strengthens then it will be tough going.

I just hope people give Maddison a few games to get back into it. People will he expecting him to run the show from his first game back.

I suspect we will all get impatient with TM as he manages Madders conservatively and refuses to start him until he's had at least 5 games in the U 21's or off the bench.

A 1-0 win at home against Colchester with The Hud scoring at the Kop end.

We've managed alright without him, so unles that changes no one should be over eager to have him straight back in the starting XI.
