Breaking the Habit of a Lifetime (2 Viewers)

I've been watching City since 1974 and I have a feeling that this season we might be about to break a habit of MY lifetime - A TOP 6 FINISH!!
What am I going to do???
How do I celebrate Coventry City's success???
Please help me I cant remember???
I'm starting to get scared now - perhaps we shouldn't do this well - I wouldn't want the club to be liable for my Heart Attack!
Perhaps things will get better after Christmas and we will fall off the edge of the cliff again as usual - ahhh that would feel more like old times - Safe and Secure in the comfort of a sub 20th league position.

That's what I'm talking about!

Excuse me people Ive got a Nose-Bleed to attend too!

Forgot that one. That's why it's so damned important to get up there and be part of it at the moment, -n ot just for the last handful of games. It's the journey that gives you the enjoyment, not just the final destination.

Coventry City have shopped at Woolworths for too long, from now on we’re shopping at Harrods”. - John Sillett 1987

It's a very strange feeling, seeing us winning and with a team that looks like it could be finally doing something none of us have seen for years. Let's enjoy the ride.

I got absolutely panned on here pre-season when I said it looked as if we were turning a corner and finally starting to get the basics right not just on the pitch but as a football club.

I'm loving every second of being a Cov fan at the minute and long may it continue.

I've even managed to convince my girlfriend to come with me for the Peterborough game end of the month, she's never been to a game, that in itself is a minor miracle !

See you all at the Ricoh in a bit, about to make my fortnightly decent from Norfolk !

This reminds me of the Jimmy Hill days, although a kid then you couldn't wait for match day home or away, expected to win every game, and if beaten just shrugged it off as a blip knowing it would be put right next time. Getting promotion from division 3 to 2 didn't change things that much either, because we played good football. What needs to happen now is we get Tony Mowbray and Mark Venus on longer contracts before others, as they will move in to nick them. One or two championship bosses clinging to their jobs a bit Leeds, Forest and Blackburn come to mind.

The length of the contract which has been raised by others, that is completely irrelevant, all that means is we receive more compensation if they get poached. It doesn't replace them with others as great as them.
The clubs in the higher leagues can afford to buy out any length of contract we would give them as the salary we would pay them.

Lets ride this crest of a wave.. i feel really really really really happy for the younger supporters that have not remotely seen anything near a little success lets hope at last they have memories to treasure

I hope we are all as excited at 17:00! I don't mean to be negative but on past form, every time we get excited what follows? I'm hoping and praying that this time it is different.

There will always be banana skins no team win all their games and Blackpool is a difficult one looked like the divisions whipping boys but just won 3 in a row, but as said earlie not that bothered about the odd blip because we will be good enough to bounce back

Dunno about anyone else. But I'm very much keeping my powder dry until after the New Year. Everything looks promising but it's so easy to get carried away. Will be just as happy with top half and a challenge next year under Mowbray.

It does look good though doesn't it?

I'm with you in that one. Coles only here for 6 games, Eagles hasn't signed yet, Kent and Armstrong could go back to their clubs in Jan. January will be a key month for us. Its where we are after 46 games that counts not 11.

That said, It is the most exciting it's been to be a cov fan in a long time #pusb.
