Due to family birthday celebrations i was at The Emirates stadium yesterday in the most fantastic seats three rows behind Arsene Wenger.

It was my first football match as a neutral and I really didn't give a shit who won, I would rather have gone to Swindon. Not that I am ungrateful for the free tickets that my brother-in-law scored as he has connections in sport, but I think it is fair to say I would rather been somewhere else.

Anyway, I digress. Everything was joyful, Arsenal were playing well and got two quick goals and then Everton pulled one back. Fuck me! I thought that we got edgy when we only had a goal to the good. I have never heard anything like it, the moaning and criticism of Wenger was unbelievable I'm amazed the bloke puts up with the shit that they gave him.

I was arguing with my Gooner family that they play Barcelona, Bayern, Liverpool etc, have had wonderful players Henry, Vierra etc, numerous days at Wembley, fantastic facilities, tradition, championships, a great manager, the ability to sign great players and always have a great chance of winning something. They didn't care and could not understand how lucky they are to support such a brilliant club. They don't deserve it

We go to Colchester, Rochdale, Port Vale and all of the other one horse towns daring to hope for a win so that we can push for a play off place. I have had one day, one fucking day at Wembley that meant anything and so many of our kids have never experienced it and would love to go to the play offs.

I tell you what, we may moan about our lot, but I would rather sit with you guys any day of the week, yes we can never aspire to be Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea etc, but we have perspective, appreciation and passion.

I glad that I am Sky Blue not a whingeing, moaning Gooner, Manch, scouser, Chelski fan.

Moan over!

Most of them aren't real football fans, they are plastics following a trend.

On top of that most Arsenal fans are wankers as well.

I was in the Three Horse Shoes on the Foleshill Road last night and the Arsenal game was on the pub screen. One half of the pub was full of Africans who when the Gunners scored jumped up and down and a few had Arsenal shirts on. I got talking to a couple of them and they said they supported not only Arsenal but Chelsea too,and they never knew Coventry had a football team. WTF !

Springs from a sense of entitlement.
They're an odd lot but really got behind our plight when we played at the Emirates 2 years back...

I'm one of the unlucky masses who never got to go to Wembley (I was born a year later, go figure). But I think even I'm starting to want to go up via the play offs rather than go up as second place as it means a trip to Wembley, something which a Manchester or Chelski fan will never understand.

I would prefer to go up as coming 1st. Then we would have won something. But would prefer to win the playoffs than come 2nd. Again we will have won something :D
