Already scored over half the goals we did last year in 46 games (25 v 49). Already gained over half the points we did last year in 46 games (28 v 55). 4 wins at home (the Ricoh) in 21 games, already have 5 wins out of 7 home games this year.

We've won 5 home games out of 7 now, Wigan, Crewe, Chesterfield, Shewsbury and Peterborough. Crazy stuff.

Already seen more victories than all of last season

And the only game I've managed to get to all season was the worst performance I've seen for years at Scunthorpe.

Fucking typical.

Jesus. I remember last season at home being dreadful, but that we've already had a better home season and it's only just November sums it up nicely.

Preston at home last season will long live in the memory .
Truly one of the worst displays by a proffessional team in history

0 shots on target that day. Sure it happened a few other times too and he said it was a 'great performance'.

And Notts County, Bristol City, Walsall, Worcester, Swindon and Scunthorpe matches last season at the Ricoh. All atrocious.

That Scunthorpe match was the most awkward match ever, Tudgay scored an equaliser in the last minute and there was barely a celebration from the sky blue army it was that bad. The celebration was like relief and disappointment rolled into one, but no happiness.

And we had more shots in the second half against Peterborough than we did in the entire 2014/2015 season. Well that might be a slight exaggeration but it seemed like it.

If anyone's bored today I'd love to know have many shots we had last season and how many this!

I swear we've had as many at the rioch already.

on average around 42% more shots per game than last season

484 in 46 games last season (180 on target 37%) 10.5/3.9 per game 1 goal per 3.7 shots on target
224 in 15 (90 on target 40%) 14.9/6 per game 1 goal per 3.6 shots on target

So goals per shot is about the same as last season, would be nice to see that improve over the season. 1 in 3 would be nice :)

Yes, we are doing better than last season. Surely that's worth at least 5 'likes'.

The season hasn't been all success but we seem to be staying in the mix. You feel this side aren't playing at there best yet, but when they are on song they look great.

lets hope players keep developing, Armstrong and Kent stay, Maddison comes back on form and TM adds a bit of depth with a couple coming in in January.

The main thing is enjoy it while it is there. Keep the faith.

Also worth comparing the signings .

romain vincelot
ryan Kent
adam armstrong
jacob murphy
marc antoine forune
bryn morris
ruben lameiras
joe cole
sam ricketts

the gulf in quality from past seasons is huge , which shows what can be achieved with the correct manager pulling the strings instead of waggott

No comparison with last season. We are getting results, we are playing football worth watching. We have an atmosphere worth being part of. It is a pleasure going to games. There is a real buzz about the club. Even the games where we haven't done so well (Blackpool and first half posh) I couldn't say I was bored. Last season was one big disappointment, a real yawn and against Worcester nothing less than a shambolic disgrace.

Frankly if you don't have a raging hard on all day on match days, you're too negative and not a proper fan.
