And while we all wildly SPECULATE on the never ending dark side of SISU strategy and goings on I will post a quote on the very subject that SISU could use.

“Speculation is an effort, probably unsuccessful, to turn a little money into a lot. Investment is an effort, which should be successful, to prevent a lot of money from becoming a little.”

But as I don't know any inside information I will await the next instalment of conspiracy theorists to post their musings on this website. You don't think he has been on some dodgy porn sites do you and now this new snooping law has come into being that he's decided to elope with his lama before his illicit peculiarity is discovered? It Is an opportunity to Introduce someone local, but that would have worked better a level above.
The departure of Fisher would Induce a bounce In gates IMO.
However my take on this Is still that he has Interfered In recruitment.
I think It's possible we lost Eagles and got Joe Cole may have his fingerprints on It.
Done as a Commercial decision, rather than
team one.
I found It odd that on the Wednesday/Thursday the news leaked re Eagles and by Friday the Cole story suddenly broke.
This followed by Steve Evans appearance In the directors box as Waggots guest on the Saturday, so I'm going for friction between him and Mowbray.

Or a job for him at Leeds....

I think M Venus has shown him and JS how to control and create a very competitive team on the field with the budget that he has been given. I have always said SW was an illusionist and in my opinion was at the club far too long. He doesn't get any credit from me as most of the good decision were made from being backed into a corner rather than creative talent. He had to come back to the Ricoh, he had to sign TM, he had to sack SP, these were decision most on here would of made, he deserves no credit and for him to spout 1 point off the top bollocks is a insult to TM and MV.

He has had very little to do with what the team is going through at the moment and any player signed under his name that worked out, is due to the fact is if you sign so many some will work. The academy lads like Wilson, was again due to no other option not because he was regarded as the next big thing. I also think TM brought and highlighted lots of negitive things to JS during the meetings at the start of the season, we were ran like a semi pro team and under SW control thats where we would of ended up. I wish the man no harm but pity the next place he pops up with his football knowlegde.

TM and MV have done more in 4 months than he ever did in 4 years that should speak volumes and with him gone and hopefully TF the next things could turn out well this season and wishing many more to come.

Not to bothered about Mr Waggot going, some good signings a lot of 'ordinary'. Only thing that I'm upset about is it wasn't Fishface.

Still, we might find out something in the next few days or weeks, maybe a new ground site in the next 3 months, excepted an offer for TM or whatever. Be surprised if something crap isn't about to blow up. Been good for to long.

We're then going to move to Glasgow along with Wasps for certain. Pete's dads dogs dad told me.

Why would Wasps move to Glasgow? Worst rugby supporting city in the UK, ask Glasgow Warriors

Tapping Evans up to replace Mowbray, wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Obviously had his nose put out by Venus, good riddance to bad rubbish.

Once Waggott wasn't selecting transfer targets he had his uses. Would rather it had been Fisher leaving.

We are still a basket case under SISU....but they would be mad to upset the good work done by TM and his team.

Unfortunately I suspect Seppala is slightly bonkers.......

What I don't understand is why you didn't sit on this story until Friday, Saturday or Sunday in a deliberate attempt to either upset the club before a match or piss on our chips after were basking in the glow of a good win? It's CT policy isn't it?

Urgh.......because ccfc released the story first.....

From Seppala

"Striving for progress both on and off the pitch, Steve’s priority has always been CCFC"

And there is the real reason, his priority should have been SISU... ;)

He is leaving with his cv looking pretty good. recrits top manager, success on the pitch, enthusiam in the stands -"look how I have rescued the club", he says at next interview.

He should walk into his next job

If he walks into another football club, I'm having a few quid on them being relegated.

Maybe TF has more time on his hands due to the new stadium being pie in the sky!

In all seriousness with Venus in the Director of Football role there wasn't "that" much for Waggot to do other than get the ticketing stuff sorted out and he couldn't even do that. So in a way makes sense that TF just keeps the back office stuff ticking along - who knows the salary freed up might actually allow us to sort out the ticketing shambles as long as he doesn't fuck up talks with Wasps next week

My suspicions are that Waggott he's gone because he thought it was in the clubs interest to make a longer term deal to stay at the Richo, contary to the Fisher/ sisu veiw who think its in sisu's interest to have a new ground that they own

I'm on a Facebook group and 1 guy is apparently ITK. He posted about Cole weeks before and everyone told him to stop chatting crap. Recently he's said that SISU have not put ANY money in the club this year and it's all come from a private backer.

As it was ever thus. SISU use other people's money as that's what they are.

I imagine that's absolutely true, since SISU announced in their New Year 'mission statement' that they were keen for CCFC to move away from financial dependence on them.

Sisu have never put their own money in - it's always been private investors.

Could be with Venus.

Can't see it myself. There's a lot of non football related stuff, that's why clubs have CEO's. Venus has his hands full with recruitment, recruitment strategy, setting up the scouting network, etc.

Yeah, I suppose so. The real danger then is that Fisher steps back into the role and a man who can piss on anyone's chips is not what the club needs right now.

He is more a Director of Football figure, doubt if Mark Venus knows any more about financial control of a multi million pound sports company than Kermit the Frog (OK I'm being factious there, but you know what I mean). There needs to be a money man with a strategic vision at the helm, sadly I think it will turn out to be Tim Fisher.

So you might as well put Venus in then

Didn't Mark Venus say just recently how he enjoys playing the stock markets with his own money? Surely that makes him more qualified than Fisher at least ;)

My big fear is Fisher taking up the role again. Looking back, on the whole I'm willing to accept that SW did an OK job and crucially was pivotal in getting us back home.

Fishers reappointment in the role could set us back in the downward cycle. He's been a disaster for our club IMO and his reappointment in the role would be the biggest one yet.
