Glad we have Fleck and Vincelot here to sort the headless chicken out, ffs. Welcome back non match fit and not played for an age Bigi.

At the risk of sounding like an Adrian Durham echo, isn't that now 6 loans? If we still bring in a defender, like we need to, won't that be 6 loans on the books? Like last season with someone is going to have to lose out. Who would people be dropping?

Murphy
Kent (have we had confirmation he's coming back?)
Armstrong
Cole
Bigi
Defender (if one comes)

I think we've probably decided not to extend Cole's loan. Kent will be off, maybe Bigi wants to have his contract cancelled in Jan?

Has he played any games this season for Newcastle u21's?

Bigirimana, who has made 13 Premier League appearances for United, has been a regular for the Club's under-21 side and made his senior international debut for Burundi in a 2-2 draw away to DR Congo on Sunday.

Those 13 Prem appearances were in 2012/2013 season.

Why are people saying he's to replace Kent or Murphy? He doesn't play in the same position as them.

He's to replace Morris, as we only have 3 centre midfielders at the club.

This is like the eviction show on Big Brother.

And still many of you question TM an MV

tbf they were right to question him on Morris.

(I re-iterate that I'm quite happy to see him here. Young, athletic, a top flight pedigree and plenty of first team games behind him already... if he hadn't played for us once, nobody would be debating whether it was a good deal or not)

Exactly what I think, Cole was also an extra who Mowbray never planned for happening.

The obvious thing to me is Cole goes back, Bigirimana signs as back up and to push Vincelot/Fleck, defender signs on loan and we are up to 5 loan maximum.

I think the confusion was to whether getting Bigi on loan meant we wouldn't get Turner on loan, but that's been clarified.

Which means one loan too many unless one drops out the squad.

Decent enough signing .. Really can't see Liverpool recalling Kent. Why would they he's doing well here but defiantly not good enough for there first team. He can rotate with Cole or send Cole back ...

Lol @ some if the replies on here

Must mean turner not coming
Must mean cole is off
Must mean kent is not coming back

Ffs wait and see. Stop second guessing mowbray

Also....welcome back biggie! If we get turner too we are righting the wrongs of yesteryear lol

Next stop callum wilson?

This is another good signing in my eyes - a player who has been unfairly criticised on here before.

He's technically gifted, can pick a pass and genuinely cares for the club (a rarity in a loan singning), so you would expect 110% commitment. In a passing team full of movement, he should flourish.

He won't start but he will provide cover and competition to the existing two and is better than any of the current replacements we have.

I don't think it necessarily means another loan is returning, but if it did you would presume JC based on his initial loan agreement, lack of availability and he is the closest to GB in terms of position (albeit not an exact match).

Great signing. Bigi has just struggled with the step up to a club that size. Many, many players have had the same issue.

Good to have another player who actually wants to play for us.

Ffs stop moaning guys. Perhaps people would rather go back to the thorne or sp days signing crap. Tm hasnt let us down yet and as far as im concerned the more quality cover we have over the winter period the better as we will be able to continue with a strong team pushing for the top spot

I don't think he'll be recalled but the reason people are suggesting it is because Klopp doesn't like the loan system and thinks players should stay in the academy to leant their trade.

I like Klopp but I think he is wrong on this they need to get out as soon as they can to play against men and also in some cases get away from the people around them to help them grow up

Interview of bigi on sbp now if you have it.
basically he has said hes here to provide another option for tm but wants to play for the team that he supports and sees as his home club.
cant wait to link up with maders and thomas again and his message to the fans is lets get promoted.
says hes here to january and hopes we are in the top two still by then and hasnt ruled out staying after jan but its up to the clubs

He says its how its done in Germany, I think they have B teams in Germany don't they? So youth players can get competitive experience in say the second or third division playing in the B team.

I think if you look at some of the b teams they have players in their mid twenties who have only played for the b teams a little bit like Kevin Malaga, he should look at the development of players like Henderson who improved massively in his time here playing real football.

I think jury out with Bigi have to regard him as unproven now but then so was Armstrong........Bigi has now had years training with premiership players
and his heart is with Cov - I hope he'll do better than some including myself first think......very useful midfield cover anyhow!
