After years of shite on and off the pitch things have finally turned.

Positivity and good news just keeps coming.

What a transformation in just 6 months.

My lad is 13 and ive always kept up his spirits by saying "one day we'll be back son"

Its just all happened so quickly. Unbelievable.

People told me not to inflict Coventry City on my Son, he's 5 months old & could at the moment be classed as a glory supporter!

Deep breath all, lots of great news, but still over half a season to go, still plenty of time for post xmas slump. Fingers crossed I'm wrong. #PUSB

I'm like a kid at Christmas at the moment. Especially as Mowbray seems to be planning a Championship CCFC Dream Team (in my mind) and I fully expect Wilson and Kirkland to resign upon promotion, followed by Daniel Sturridge.

And James Scowcroft...

After too many years of pain and suffering, I have acquired an acute case of cynicism. With 29 games left to play, just give me enough points to avoid relegation. Anything after that is a bonus pray.gif

That's my method too, try to tell myself it won't last and that we'll be mid-table by March, but secretly hoping and praying to the Gods of Football that we finish top or second.

Fuck the playoffs, always hated them.

Totally agree, seen too many false dawns in my 40odd years of supporting us, just one day it would be nice to see us up there with a few games to go with promotion in our own hands.

Had to laugh a little at that. I was born in 1981, barely remember the glory of '87, doesnt feel like anythings happened very quickly to me! :D

joking aside, it is unreal how things have changed.

we just need to make sure its sustained

if we dont ge tup this year we need to be right back challenging next

and if we make championship we need to find a way to go for playoffs within 3 years or so

tbh i will be devasated if we dont get promoted. our best season could end up hurting more than all the others. ironic

Its great to see my friends have actually taken a interest in ccfc since were doing so well and signed joe cole they are amazed we got him and hoping we get back to pl sooner rather then later.

It really is a surreal feeling at the minute.

Walking away from the Ricoh NOT feeling utterly depressed (let's forget Northampton...), signing players to make an impact, not just increase the numbers and no nonsense from the owners.

Maybe we are all getting a little carried away but after years of shit, sod it, we are allowed.

Here, here,
what really has impressed me is that Mowbray and all involved has transformed the club in such a positive way and got us all believing again...PUSB
Plus that letter to the young city fan from Tony today is absoultely fantastic....Tony Mowbray sky blue army...

We need to go up this season because next season we may not find an Armstrong, Kent or Murphy.
