Are we now more or less happy squad wise ? (4 Viewers)

Having strengthened defence, midfield and may well be adding a right back to maintain our promotion push are we now happy with our lot or do we need to strengthen further, if so where

If we add a RB I'm happy for now. January is a different matter, need to keep Arma and replace Turner who I doubt we will keep. If Cole and Kent go back and Madders is fit I don't think we'll be that much worse off there. I'd like to keep Bigi, but worry he wouldn't get a game other than a few suspensions.

Keep arma and sign RB and turner and Cole on contract till end of season. So we have just Murphy and arma on loan with Kent and bigi going back to clubs

There is one thing that everyone should have learned by now. Have faith in TM to bring in the players we need. January will be no difference.

Is everyone happy with him holding on for the right players now?

I am VERY VERY happy to trust TM to do what needs doing when it needs doing.

spot on, if Mowbray can get joe Cole then I'm not too worried about what happens in January...probably already got replacements lined up.

As it stands very happy, better than I could have imagined. Either we're spending way above the reported 2 million or Mowbray and Venus are making the previous regime look more of a farce than we already knew it was.

I am just erring on the side of we have a few too many loans for my liking. If we can extend most of them till the end of the season then I will be very happy. However is say we lose 5 out of the 6 loans then it isn't great for continuity.

We have the right amount of loans. Only 1 can't play. At least 1 isn't match fit. When all match fit 1 gets rested depending on who we are playing and formation.

And as said previously I am happy with the squad. If we go up TM has another blank canvas where he can put a Championship team together instead of being stuck with players not good enough.

I'm happy as we have maddison coming back very soon. Think as someone mentioned above we would need to keep Armstrong and replace/keep Turner to stand a chance of auto promotion.

The one concern I have is the lack of goal scoring cover for Armstrong. Even if we manage to hang on to him for the season there is the ever present danger of injury like those suffered by Samuels last season and of course Madison and Willis this one.

I don`t doubt for a moment that TM is aware of this and would have a contingency plan if need be, but I`m just answering the question posed by the thread.

It could always be improved but far happier than I have been for many years.

People were going mental that he hadn't brought loads in like Pressley did before the start of the season. Glad he hasn't rushed into signing Manset, Edge and Malaga.

Exactly. We're serious promotion contenders at the moment and for that reason my preference is a far amount of one/two year contracts and season long loans. As you can day he can then retain who he wants or start again if he pleases if we go up

It's like painting the Forth Bridge, as soon as you think its done someone will leave or get an injury!

As it stands pretty happy, especially if this right back comes in. The key now will be the January window and who stays past then but given his track record so far even if a few people bugger off he'll get decent replacements.
