    Baller League

The photo in that article. There's a cameraman on the pitch. Wft? That looks and sounds awful, but indoor football can be genuinely exciting. Futsal's pretty popular in many parts of the world isn't it, I think. I remember the Soccer Six in the late 80s; that was fun (I was there when David...

    Initial prognosis

Wilson saved one in the League. (I think) since we came up, the only one that's not gone in during the game itself. Until the Cup semi last season, in shoot outs, too. A disproportionate amount of penalties go in against us. Not blaming the keepers (any of them), but nobody's clattered one off...

Not a mercenary, but the most driven. Which is part of the reason why his career will reach heights that Hamer's won't. I love Vik, probably more than Hamer. It was always obvious that he'd move on (possibly even if we'd have gone up), but it was also clear playing for us meant a lot to him...

    FA Cup 2024/25

I tell you, I'd absolutely love to see some disgruntled supporter toss a whole Victoria sponge onto the pitch in disgust.

Tbf, this is (genuinely) a Fulham fan. I don't think they're the fiercest of support bases.

None of our shots were dangerous other than the one that went in, though, and they dealt very easily with the crosses we put into the box. Their percentage of forward passes to total passes is also significantly higher than ours (40% to 32%); the stats look like that because they let us play in...

    Sheff Utd ratings

The scary thing is that despite how much better than us they were, they were one of the most feeble top-flight teams in history the season before. Some teams may have got fewer points, but have any offered so little resistance? They conceded over 100 goals. That's the disparity that exists now.

Plus we are not a top 3 team, nor have we been, so you'd expect form to be worse against the best teams. Because they're better than us

Has it? This year against the top three, we have been poor, but previous years ok. Last year 3 points v Leicester & 4 v Leeds. Only Ipswich got the better of us of the top three.

Come on, they were a lot better. It was very cagey until they scored, but after that, thier confidence grew and the looked dangerous and incisive whenever they had they ball. In contrast, we were mostly conservative and never looked like scoring, never getting in behind them. We played poorly...

You say, going over old ground. :) He was well protected, but also more or less faultless for the majority of that season. But the point is valid; this is not a solid formation, and only a very good goalkeeper would prosper in it.

This really winds me up, tbh. He grew up in a football club, and environment that contains lots of different people from different walks of life. It's natural that a young impressionable person would be influenced by the people around them that they look up to. I don't get the hate for O'Hare...
