Remember if you are travelling to Brighton.....

You'd have probably had the Wedding Present playing if this game was in August. Really.

    Pubs for Brighton

It is very good - though get very cramped very quickly. In fact, all of the pubs around the station do good ales and bitters - The Trafalgar, the Caxton, The Evening Star, The Lord Nelson, The Grand Central, The Prince Albert. Just avoid the Railway Bell which, as a Coventry fan you will be...

    Interesting Article offering hope

I think many of you are missing the point of Paul Samrah's words. The fact that Tony Bloom came along and pumped his £250m (so far) in isn't the central issue. It was about the fact that Tony Bloom was able to build a stadium for club that actually existed. Without the Brighton fans'...

    Pubs for Brighton

I wouldn't say 'most' are home fans only. The Evening Star, The Prince Albert and the Nelson are all-inviting. The Caxton, Trafalgar and Grand Central are for home fans only though. The best pubs in the city are around the station. From there, you can catch your train to Falmer, free of charge.

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

I wanted to let Brighton fans know some insight into what is going on at Coventry. It's evidently more confused than I first realised, but if you think I asked a Coventry fan on the show just for a wind-up, I think you need to get over yourself a bit more. Whose truth? You can't even decide...

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

We have these kinds of silly arguments on the Brighton equivalent of SBT - we can it a 'binfest'. (Type 'binfest' into Google). I'm still none the wiser as to the route ALL Coventry fans should take, but I would say that there is some amusing petulance on here. I'm sure skybluetony176 may have...

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

Not pissing myself - just flabbergasted that something so important (the future stability of your club) is apparently being fought over by what appears to be feuding children. I'm not one to take sides - the issues do seem more complex than a 20 minutes natter in a podcast could ever cover -...

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

I'd rather you didn't tell people not to listen to our show. Or don't people have their own minds?

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

What I seem to be getting from this is (a) it's a mess (b) there doesn't seem to be an urgency to sort it out amicably (c) the fans are not united, on the back of (d) some apparently appearing to have their own hard-and-fast agendas, leading to in-fighting. Has it really got this bad?

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

I appreciate that he didn't reveal the whole picture; time was the main enemy on that score. I don't think I appreciated how convoluted it was, to be fair, before I asked him in. He did say that to tell the story would take all afternoon, and he also mentioned that there was more than one side...

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

Incidentally, on that same website, if you click on the 'Archive' link, and scroll down to 'Players/Ex-Players' you'll see there's an interview with Chris Cattlin, who talks very warmly about his time at Coventry City. This was an interview from 2010. Seeing as he's a hero of mine from his...

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

Morning all. I'm a Brighton fan who co-runs a weekly unofficial radio show / podcast on Radio Reverb, community radio in Brighton. This week just gone, we had a Brighton-based Coventry fan, Rob Stevens, come on to the show to tell us about the ongoing woes your club is facing. For you, I...

    Brighton away

Afternoon all. Certainly not here for a gloat, but we'll take the three points however they come. I think we are still a team in transit, and today we looked sluggish - the ten minutes after our second goal notwithstanding. What took me was how different your guys played in the second half...

If it's a verbal slanging match you're after, at least call it a city, you gormless retard. :p No red light district in Brighton - it's all done in the open. As for the real women (the ones without a blow-up valve), the aforementioned West Street is for the real swamp donkeys - syphilis a...

    Brighton away

Stilletos only, no matter how unconvincing you think you look. This is Brighton we're talking about. :) Seriously, as my fellow Brightonist said, bars on the seafront, on the beach, in the City Centre. A few slag pits in West Street, Latin/soul clubs in the Lanes, hi-NRG in Kemp Town (ducky)...
