The bottom tier is rarely used and my Millwall pal tells me it’s unlikely we would get much more than the initial 2k.
Some of the comments on here are wide of the mark. 1500 is a good following here and it’s more likely to be 1800ish.
Basically seems to be down to lack of staff, not good enough. They need to rally and get people from other areas to help if they aren’t….probably also explains why the Barnsley tickets were held back etc.
I was on the coach that had the bottles thrown at it, in fact a couple hit the pane of glass I was sat next to.
Usual gestures exchanged and then boooom, a bottle is launched from some distance and smashes against the coach…then another. They were actually launching bottles over their own...
I think that is possible if they do pay on the day. If not we are on for 1800 I’d say. Not bad at all, twice as many as Barnsley took to Cardiff last Saturday for example.
I did expect 2500 minimum though.
We have fallen behind the Italian curve at 335 deaths vs Italy at 463 on the equivalent day - 14 days after the first fatality. 54 new deaths and I honestly expected us to be on or very near 3 figures for 24 hours.
A very small light in a dark dark tunnel.
I’d imagine this weekend will be fine.
But once the cases escalate then there is a serious possibility the season will be decided in alternative ways or even voided.
Anyone know why the lower terracing was empty yesterday? There was like 20 fans down there that you could see from the upper tier, but other than that empty seats?
