After Wembley, when the song was played in full and I only knew the words to the chorus, I learned them for next time. It was great to carry on to singing the second verse yesterday - it’s the first time I’d done it. I read the message above about holding scarves up and maybe we should do that too - it looks great when Hibs fans do it singing Sunshine on Leith. I hope to be able to belt out all the while song at Wembley soon 🩵
Its not in the same league as Sunshine on Leith

because it's not about CoventryBe careful, people will say it's not about Coventry.
because it's not about Coventry
what is wrong with saying a song that is not about coventry is not about coventry? The literally point of the post!
I reckon it needs tambourines

you have a weird obsession with things having to be "cov", you'll never walk alone is not about liverpool, blue moon is not about manchester and it doesn't really matter. why do you need to pretend it's about coventry? it has no impact on it's value as a football song
it's ours only because the market for clumsy 00s landfill indie pastiches of that's entertainment isn't that bigMy original post was a tongue in check response to someone saying it's 'ours'.
That's a popular one by the Village People isn't it?like the Scousers do for YNWA.
You should able to do whatever you want with it haha. Amuses me how annoyed people can get at how other fans choose to celebrate. Personally I think it’s a great song and fantastic to have an anthem associated with the club. I always sing the Eton Boating song, but have never been a fan of the tune itself.I’m very confused (normal due to my age !) but I both clap and sing . Should I not be doing either ??
Sky Blue Tambourines, doesn't work as well? Green however.I reckon it needs tambourines
Talking of the eton boating song/sky blue song - it was another version they played last weekend I think. Not the old school one that had been playing recently, but a more Glenn Miller/bluesy style one?You should able to do whatever you want with it haha. Unless it’s the same one and it just went on for longer?
We'll be getting a dance remix to go with the pre-match lightshow when the put the new floodlights inTalking of the eton boating song/sky blue song - it was another version they played last weekend I think. Yeah it might have been and I paid more attention to it?
best song in football (a Proclaimers song ..... big Hibs fans)Its not in the same league as Sunshine on Leith
A special moment when “toilets smell of desperation is in the score board”Thoughts on the words being on the scoreboard today? Bit too karaoke for me...
I liked it, but especially liked that they kept the song going for the second verseThoughts on the words being on the scoreboard today? Bit too karaoke for me...
I like that version. Link to our pastThought it was cracking tbh. It's building into a real anthem. They need to knock the old school music to the sky blue song on the head just before it though.
Shouldn't be neccesary. How hard is it for people to google the lyrics to a song from almost 20 years ago?
I liked it, but especially liked that they kept the song going for the second verse
Could do with them putting the lyrics up for that one tooIs the tequila song for da Silva? Couldn't make it out
