Going to happen at some point isn't it.I’d rather avoid Sunderland. They are due a win against us.
I would rather avoid them too.

No, thanks.
Reminds me of the dark one from Zig & Zag'They're bottom of the league for a reason...'

I wouldn't swap Rudoni for Hamer. And still twice the player of any of our midfield.
It's the playoffs. Who thought we would see Coventry v Luton at Wembley?Agreed. As others have said though about styles making games, if we finish 5th I wouldn't be shocked if 6th place knocked out Sheffield United atm. Be that Bristol, Millwall..
He's a bitter little goblin.

If we make the playoffs, we'll play them or Sheff Utd first. At this point, I'd fancy our chances against Sheff Utd.I really don't want them if we make it, you know the play offs will be the one time they beat us.
Yes I’d rather play Sunderland or whoever is the other playoff finisher in a final than that Sheff U teamIf we make the playoffs, we'll play them or Sheff Utd first. At this point, I'd fancy our chances against Sheff Utd.
I don’t hate him, I just wouldn’t sign him if we got promoted.
We'd probably have to pay around £20-25m, and there'd inevitably be cheaper and better alternatives available. He clearly doesn't have the discipline to be a PL footballer otherwise he wouldn't be back playing in the Championship now.Hate is a strong word, but your posts about him always seem to have a bitter twinge to them. To be fair I'm not sure I would sign him if we got promoted either, but that would depend on what alternatives are available.
Couldn’t ask for any better 3 games against teams in 20th 23rd & 24th, I know teams are battling to stay up but you’d take that all day,
But we couldn’t have asked for better games, if we can’t get enough points from what’s left then we don’t deserve itPlymouth 2. Sheffield United 1.![]()
Love to see Cringe FC lose on their big day out.Posh 1-0 v Blues (looking much the better side)
It's the 'top 6 Championship' claim about their current squad that amuses me. Peterborough genuinely have some individuals with a lot more potential. That Stansfield is also a dislikeable little rag.Love to see Cringe FC lose on their big day out.
Yeh the whole thing is just embarrassing. Stansfield needs to get snapped in half by someone. It's the 'top 6 Championship' claim about their current squad that amuses me. Peterborough genuinely have some individuals with a lot more potential. That Stansfield is also a dislikeable little rag.

Yeah. Will be interesting to see how he handles himself in the Championship. He will definitely try and play the hard man at The Trillion ( or whatever their ground is now called) Think he'll get an unhelpful reputation for himself from what I've seen of him this season ( he acted like a tawt against Newcastle in the cup, against Posh today, and I've seen him do similar in other games) One to keep an eye on next season.Yeh the whole thing is just embarrassing. He was one of their better players when they went down, but not a standout player for the league overall.Yeah. Will be interesting to see how he handles himself in the Championship. Gus was Sheff U player of the year in the PL. He was brilliant against us in both games and arguably the difference between the two sides. We'd probably have to pay around £20-25m, and there'd inevitably be cheaper and better alternatives available. He clearly doesn't have the discipline to be a PL footballer otherwise he wouldn't be back playing in the Championship now.
He is probably tied with Ao Tanaka for the best centre mid in the division. Unlike him though, Tanaka has superb work ethic and fitness levels and will be in high demand if Leeds somehow screwed up.Gus was Sheff U player of the year in the PL. I was surprised that he was not snapped up by a lower PL side, until someone pointed out it was due to lifestyle issues.
As previously said when fully fit, he is better than any of our midfielders including Rudi at the moment.
For me, it is his vision, coupled with his technique. Give him another player's body, and he'd be at a top end PL team.He is probably tied with Ao Tanaka for the best centre mid in the division. With respect to him, he wouldn’t. But few players areFor me, it is his vision, coupled with his technique. Give him another player's body, and he'd be at a top end PL team.
If he had the physique of an Adam Wharton, I think his technique and vision are exceptional, but hey ho...opinions.With respect to him, he wouldn’t. But few players are
It’s more to do with his own lack of discipline than his body shape. If he had the physique of an Adam Wharton, I think his technique and vision are exceptional, but hey ho...opinions.
Few players are what (not sure what you mean)?? (able to play for a top end PL team?)
Few players are good and complete enough to play for elite PL clubs. Even if Hamer had the physique, he’s not going to be peak De Bruyne. If he had the physique of an Adam Wharton, I think his technique and vision are exceptional, but hey ho...opinions.

Agree - he needn't be the shape he is, but if he were in peak physical condition, he could play at the highest level imo. It’s more to do with his own lack of discipline than his body shape.
He could play for a midtable PL side, I think. It’s a shame that he’ll never reach his potential.Agree - he needn't be the shape he is, but if he were in peak physical condition, he could play at the highest level imo.
Not sure if this has been mentioned on here but Bristol City’s first choice keeper is out for the rest of the season and their fans have no confidence in any of his potential replacements.
