Hull are favourites on Monday with the bookies. Not going to be straight forward by any means.
No game is going to be easy. Just ask Sheffield United.

I'm sure it's going to be a low scoring game with few decent chances. We just need to keep going like we did against Portsmouth. In their last 10 games 7 goals for 7 goals against. Been doing better away than at home. Keep it solid and 1-0 could easily be enough.

Brizzle are predicted to win 2 and lose 2 to Leeds (yes) and Sunderland (maybe) leaving them on 70. Hard to see Borough or Millwall taking 12 points from 4 games, they won't top 70 either. So 3 wins out of the last 5 games we are home and hosed and should finish 5th. Blackburn have Sunderland and Sheffield Utd they aren't taking 6 points from those games so they're gone: It's 5 teams for 2 spots, making draws against WBA and Borough interesting, may take them out of the mix (they both need 3/3 wins otherwise), but if it's Brizzle and Milwall (of all things!) with Coventry, all stuck on 70, our GD should still be enough over Milwall... So 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss still viable. 2 wins 1 draw or 1 win 4 draws for 69 points very, very risky, but it's Skybets current prediction we finish 6th with 69 points. We'd rather avoid playing Sheffield over two legs though I reckon.

We really need that 5th place spot.

Sunderland semi’s, Sheff Utd final would be perfect!

Then stealing back Hamer would be the icing on the cake after promotion

Sorry to be pessimistic, but I can't see us winning against Hull, Luton or Plymouth. Our last 4 away performances have not been great v Derby or Sheff Utd and v Oxford and Sheff.Weds I thought we got away with both a bit. I'd take 3 draws all day as all 3 will be real battles.

I am so unbothered about where we finish, as long as it is within the Top 6

It's the play offs, everyone in them is a decent side and you could reel off many pro's and con's for playing any of them

It'll be tough eitherway, bring on whoever it may be
Wise words but one thing will be true and that is nobody would be too happy about having to play us.

He scored a worldie against us but I’m just not sure he is as fit as he should be? I think the Blades fans think that as well. He was brilliant for us but time has probably moved on now.
He’s at least a couple of stone overweight compared to when we first signed him - I’d definitely be looking elsewhere if we got promoted.

Tom Cannon is a shocking waste of money. What a dog shit signing he has been.

Win tomorrow and it’s setting up nicely for the stripey c**t knockout cup. So torn. It would be perfection to go up beating Sunderland and Sheff Utd, it would be torture to go out to either.
Agreed. As others have said though about styles making games, if we finish 5th I wouldn't be shocked if 6th place knocked out Sheffield United atm. Be that Bristol, Millwall..

See that’s where the torn comes in. We looked miles off Sheff Utd before they decided to crumble, but what beats 40k city fans rubbing it into Hamer and O’Hare?

I think we take Bristol if it’s them. WBA would be the only team in the chase I’d be slightly worried about other than whoever is third.

Oh if you could write the script, your way is absolute cinema. Knocking out Sunderland and Sheffield United to go up? I'd empty my ballsack until I was pumping out dust.

Might steal that line later when the wife asks me how pleased would I be if she got my Sunday dinner ready in time for me coming back from the pub today.

Maybe you're right

We really need to be right on our game tomorrow. Hull, apparently, have been mixing very good performances and then poor performances for a while.

No doubt Hull will be right up for this one, but I do think a point would satisfy both camps at the end of the day.
