In all seriousness, why do we keep leaking this info on here, and giving the opposition a heads up. I can't believe that opponents don't look for this stuff - you can then adjust your team accordingly. Why would we want to give them a heads up, just for the sake of saying 'hey lads, guess what' on a forum. Genuinely don't get it. Why (especially in our position) would you do it?
basically, Saddle.................................... SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!

Who knows if true, probably is, but for some reason am not that bothered. Simms was starting to look pretty good before being dropped, he's got goals in him and will work well with Wright out left - they have a history. Torp we all knew was probably out for season, we've got Sheaf back and Allen, with Eccles coming. Thomas would be a problem, but if it's potentially "a couple games" then should be fine if back for play offs (and we're there).

I like the transfer links and little bits of information we get about goings on behind the scenes.

Anything repeated to the squad coming up to the next game should be left until team news is announced. Once that tweet goes out and we all wonder why Thomas is missing a "bad injury apparently - might be done for the season" is good to know but saying that now opens the possibility that it reaches the Hull camp.

I would like to add that this news came third hand from a player this time

I heard it, thought it was a wind up, asked my source who confirmed

Said player apparently does it a lot

I hope"Said player" and your source get suspended and if you have a season ticket the same happens with that.No one in their right mind gives the enemy any information they can use against them.

Well the itk news has hit the Hull forum so you can bet someone at the club is also aware now
Fans read each other's forums, and it doesn't take an Einstein to realise clubs will monitor them for this sort of thing. Hull will have planned set piece moves thinking about Thomas; how to deal with EMC....whatever. They can now adjust to target our central defence aerially, knowing Thomas is out. If I'm Hull, I'm now lumping it up to Crooks/whoever to take any advantage I've got, and tweaking my team accordingly. Had they not known, they could be playing a small player like Geldhart, leaving Crooks/lump number 2 on the bench. Like I say, this sort of thing p*sses me off, in terms of helping out your opponents, in a game so important to us. Hopefully we can cope, but still feckin' stupid on here to give them a heads up.

I'd like to know @Saddlebrains rationale for doing it.

If you look back through match threads, whenever ive said any team news I've waited for a few hours before KO

What i posted last night was being thrown around whatsapp groups between fans since the previous night

I got sent it, said that's surely not true, so got clarification on it

Only reason I posted it earlier than usual is because I thought it was, or it least was getting to be, common knowledge amongst the fanbase due to the above

Lads I have some terrible news tbh

Torp and EMC done for the season. Thomas deffo done for next couple, could also be the season

We're fucked
Thomas is the biggest loss imo. A decent defender and a big threat at set pieces.
Torp is a good player, but we have cover there fortunately.
EMC is no big loss, I don't rate him that highly and Wright would add much more than him on the left. Which gives Simms, Bassette and BTA an opportunity to grab their chance upfront.

We should still have enough to beat Hull tonight.
